Petchara and Panom were fantastic hosts. They really made you feel at home and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Also, their helper Ung (I hope I spelt that correctly) was lovely and made some fantastic food for us during our stay. We had one of the newer bungalows which... More

Firstly, as others have said, Petchara and Panom were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. We didn't have a car with us and they let us borrow their bicycles to get around which was ideal. The accommodation itself was great and way above the standard we were expecting. We stayed in one of the hilltop chalets and our room was... More

We stayed with the three of us in two appartments. Petchara and Panom where the best hosts you could wish for, nothing was too much. We stayed a week which was great, could have easily stayed longer. The hosts are very knowlegdeable and willing to show things. We went on lovely trips with them including eating and dancing with the... More

I stayed at this place two times this fall and it was wonderful! The views of the surrounding forests and mountains are excellent from the higher-up sitting cottages. The cottages are super-clean, modern, big and comfortable. The owners, Panom and Petchara, are nice, kind, thoughtful people who speak English and are knowledgeable about the area and have maps and recommendations... More

Although removed from the bustle of Chiang Mai City, this resort is not far. You have to go by car, but the owners have an office downtown, making it easy. The resort has several bungalows, each very clean and comfortable, with wifi, television, and lovely shower. It's an easy walk to to experience the nearby village. At the resort, though,... More

Had original planned to stay for 3 days but decided to extend our stay for additional 3 days. The lodge is locate 20 km from Chiang Mai and is for guests that will enjoy time in a peaceful location. The time spend here was one of the highlight of the time spend in Thailand. The owners are very helpful and... More

Lovely place to stay when visiting Chiang Mai (short bus ride away from city centre) – peaceful place in the countryside (which worked for us as we arrived after 2 nights in Bangkok!). You will really feel relaxed and away from it all here. Bungalows are of high quality, we stayed in the new ones up on a slight hill... More

Petchara and Panom are perfect hosts couldn't do enough for us. They welcome you on arrival to your "home" rather then a hotel! Petchara extends warm hospitality and looked after us from start to finish with lovely traditional food. Panom took us on wonderful trips to Royal Palaces, Buddhist Temples, Mountains, Water Falls, Local Markets, and Elephant shows. Having once... More

We stayed a week at Petchara's and Panom's lodge in Mai Rim outside of Chiang Mai. We awoke in our comfortable cottage to the sound of birds, and alternated our days between tours arranged by their Thai Culture Holidays, and resting, reading and walking and eating at the Lodge. Petchara and Panom treated us as neighbors and family and shared... More
