My wife and I spent five days at Mae Nai Gardens and we had a really relaxing stay. Ian and Pop are charming, well informed and caring hosts and the time we spent together will undoubtedly evoke very happy memories for us during the cold Irish winter. We've never seen such a high quality DVD collection in any other hotel... More

After reading so many good reviews, disappointing on arrival, a first I think to carry my own bags to the room. Ian the owner explained this was due to a quick turnaround of the previous guests, a major initial issue for us was a lack of a babycot, despite 1-2-1 emails exchanged directly with the owner making it clear we... Paul - Thank you for your comments. We do try to make it clear on our website and on Agoda that we are not a conventional hotel, and that some of our facilities are not suitable for families with young children. However, we are horrified to hear about the sleepless nights - it's a real shame you did not tell... More

What a great place to stay! Mae Nai Gardens is such a beautiful place with lots of space for guests to relax in wonderful landscaped gardens. We woke up to the fresh air of the countryside and enjoyed a very teasty breakfast with Ian and Pop. They are very helpful hosts.

Mae Nai Gardens was a great choice I made just a minute before boarding the plane to Chiang Mai. The two days me and my friend stayed in the Wild Orchid was wonderful, and the very friendly & helpful hosts (Pop & Ian) made us felt like home. It is a beautiful, serene and private place to stay in Chiang... More

Thank you so much for your great review, Karen and Nina. We are now getting more guests from China, and it is encouraging to see that they enjoy our countryside retreat as much as westerners do! We hope to welcome you back here some day, and perhaps we will get to China too. More

Ian and Pop are sharing their beautiful and serene premises with their guests. Very private, Thai style villas of different sizes are surrounding their own house, all quietly set back in a huge, nicely landscaped garden. Our villa was sitting right on top of a fish pond with a shaded porch. We spent most of our time just sitting there,... More

Pop and Ian are great hosts, warm and welcoming. Their homemade breakfast is excellent, their rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated their gardens are beautiful and pool makes you want to throw ... The location requires to rent a scooter or car to explore the area but Ian and Pop can handle it for you. In short, this idyllic... More

Well, everything is said about this wonderful place by the previous speakers, so we will only add a few remarks. We had a perfect relaxing time, Ian and Pop were like family to us, even the breakfast was adapted to our wishes ( we had a delicious rice congee). Pop had a lot of useful tips for restaurants, orchid farms,... More

This is an ideal vacation resort for those who love nature surroundings and quiet environment. The bungalows (only five or six?) are located sparsely in a naturally designed garden with no unnecessary fancy stuffs. All you hear are sounds of birds and insects. The hosts, Ian and Pop, are extremely helpful. They offered good suggestions on sightseeing points and dining... More
