Just returned from a five day stay here. Myself, my husband and another couple who we go on holiday with on a regular basis. We had en-suite rooms next to each other. Both fantastic. Breakfast to die for. Location is lovely and peaceful yet very central for exploring Wales. Wonderful hosts and great personal friendly service which is missing in... More

We stayed at this very comfortable place for two weeks. It is a wonderful area, quiet and peaceful with so many places to visit that we couldn't see them all in a fortnight. The welcome at Brynhir is exceptional, the breakfasts alone would last one all day, but the three course evening meals are home cooking at its best. I... More

I stayed here for one night. The owner was very accommodating with me arriving very late. My room was not ensuite but there was a wash basin in the room and the bathroom was right next door. The décor was very nice and there was coffee/tea etc. There were lovely toiletries and nice towels. The bed was comfortable and I... More

I've just had a wonderful weekend at Brynhir Farm. Food, care, service, welcome all amazing. Hidden away at the end of a valley, surrounded by sheep and even the air outside smelt good! Ceinwen and her team care for guests as if it were their own family staying. I've already booked two more breaks here.

This is the perfect B&B. Nothing was too much trouble, even a vegan diet, evening meal as well as breakfast. I don't think I have ever eaten such delicious vegan food in a non-vegan venue, and the care taken was exceptional. My omnivore chums were equally impressed. Afternoon tea with homemade cup cakes was an added bonus. We sat in... More

My husband and I have just experienced a great relaxing break on this wonderful farm. Everywhere was spotless, the food was excellent and Ceinwen was a great hostess. It was so peaceful and relaxing just to sit and listen to the surrounding birdlife whilst there were also many walks to explore. It was a pleasure to listen to Geoffs stories... More

What can I say? This B&B is absolutely amazing. Came here as a group of 7 ladies celebrating having been together as a walking group for 20 years. This is the best B&B I have every stayed in. Made to feel welcome upon arrival complete with tea and home made cakes. Fantastic host and superb breakfast. Top Class all the... More

This lovely farmhouse B & B is run really well by Mrs Ceinwen Nixon & her husband. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable and very tastefully decorated (recently) and the sitting room too. It is all warm and cosy and set in glorious countryside. The Nixons gave us a wonderful welcome and delicious tea with homemade cakes in the afternoon and... More

Our first stay but will not be our last. Ceinwen could not have made us more welcome on an appalling day with tea and cake. Our room with sitting area was comfortable, warm, spotless and peaceful. TV reception not too good sometimes due to weather. The House and food was fantastic, home cooking beautifully presented. About one mile from mainroad... More
