The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy; and the en-suite bathrooms were modern, clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed the evening meals, for which there was plenty of choice, and the excellent, hearty English breakfasts. The staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. An enjoyable break!

Lovely place to stay - good sized rooms and bedroom and Mark is a great host and clearly the pub is very popular as the staff are friendly and attentive and the menu is varied with some good specials. Breakfast was very good with plenty of everything.

We had three days at the Two Sawyers and it was the best B+B we have stayed at. Mark, the Landlord, and his family and smashing staff couldn't do enough for us.The food was fantastic and served by very friendly and attentive staff. The pub serves four real ales on pump which are spot on.The rooms are spacious and comfy -... Have been eating at the Two Sawyers for about four years now -went at the weekend, again excellent food, excellent service, staff remember you. Never had a bad meal. One great thing that makes this place stand out is once seated to eat, staff check you are ok and bring you drinks throughout if needed, so you dont have to... More

Stayed one night in "oak room",be very aware of previously mentioned noisy bar below possibly only at weekends, you are prewarned by owners which is appreciated but you will be kept awake until the early hours. The above aside this is a clean, friendly cosy pub with cracking breakfasts, book direct through the website for the best deals!

Booked this place in advance but had a little trouble finding it thanks to an unfriendly sat nav. Situated down a long and beautiful country lane we eventually arrived. It looked good from the start and Marc the guvnor welcomed us warmly. Showed us to the superior "Oak room" which was delightful and really way too big for a one... More

We stayed three nights in the Two Sawyers which were to our complete satisfaction. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the restaurant sets you back to the time of William and Harold with its very original atmosphere. The food is very good, but the staff is the greatest asset. They were very friendly and give you the idea of... More

we stayed here for the second time this last weekend whilst on a house-hunting trip to the area. The pub is great, just keep your head low to avoid banging it in some areas. a very good B & B of a much better standard than you might expect in a country pub, eg free wi-fi. In room fridge with...
