Friendly welcome with directions when our Satnav failed us! Comfy rooms, clean and modern shower rooms, lovely food with varied menus for dinner and breakfast. Couldn't really fault it though Wifi reception was a bit iffy? Plenty of parking. Would certainly revisit as it's well located close to the coast.

We had a splendid room (Oak) which was large, comfortable and warm. Everything worked (though the t.v. could have been bigger in such a large room i.e. it was a long way from the bed). That apart, we had a good night and would definitely return.

We spent one night at the Two Sawyers in a very comfortable, spacious room. The pub has great atmosphere and is nicely furnished. The meals were excellent with a good choice and great quality, and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. There was a little noise from the bar below, but this wasn't so loud as to disturb us... More

A family lunch at this quaint pub was a very good day. Although the weather was poor and we could not ake advantage of the outdoor seating we enjoyed the atmosphere inside - mind your heads as you walk - and the menu was extensive. The food was served impeccably and included a huge platter of vegetables for all to... More

Me and my mum were recently booked in to stay here for two nights. The food was ok, we ate with some friends and out of our group most of the meals were dry and nothing special. It was quite pleasant to sit inside and have a drink but that was about it. The B&B rooms are lovely and spacious... More

Caravanning nearby and had the ten minute walk to this beautifully located country pub. We got the best of all worlds, spacious "green" beer garden, clean patio area and quaint small rooms inside. According to the landlord the pub had just experienced its busiest time ever, yet all ran smoothly. We enjoyed starters and mains sat outside. They were served... More

Very pleasant service, average food quality in the evening but good quality breakfast, newly refurbished room with reasonable quality finish, bed not very comfortable. Overall quite good value for money. With a bit of fine tuning this could be very good.
