We have just arrived home from a excellent stay of 3 nights at The Lookout, Laura and Stuart are natural hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely and relaxing with the most fantastic shower and super soft bed, plenty of tea/coffee and chocy treats for us. What can we say about the breakfast; just magnificent! with Laura's home... More

We have just spent 3 lovely nights at this B&B you could not ask for a better place to stay. Laura was a great hostess and cook a fantastic breakfast. Our room was spacious and had a view of the English Channel. One of the nice things was the inclusion of a small fridge. The shower was the best strong... More

We stayed with Laura in early April 2013 so this review is a little late. However, we cannot recommend The Lookout highly enough. We stayed just one night to attend a friend's party nearby and were bowled over by the standard of accommodation. We had a room with a sea view which, whilst not huge, was very comfortable, spotlessly clean... More

Stunning place with stunning views. The most accommodating hostess Laura is friendly & made us feel right at home, presenting the excellent breakfast, (vegetarian for us, although a more traditional one is offered too) on the outdoor deck each morning, facing directly across the English channel surrounded by beautiful East Sussex rolling countryside. Super comfy large bed in a lovely,... More

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Lookout and can highly recommend it! Laura, the owner is extremely attentive and very friendly and welcoming. Both rooms are well furnished and the King size beds were lovely to sleep in. The views where breakfast was served are a lovely way to start the day> Nothing was too... More

Agree with previous rave reviews - great sea view, room and breakfast - Laura gave us a very warm welcome, accommodated our bicycles and couldn't have been more helpful with advice on where to eat in the evening within walking distance. Will definitely stay again.

Exceptional - what a stunning place - everything above expectation! Our seaview accommodation superb and provided every need, as did our hostess Laura whose attention to detail was phenominal. Highlight?- breakfasting (what a feast) on the patio overlooking a sundrenched view of the Channel across beautiful gardens. South of France view but with a green rather than brown panorama. Our... We have just come back from 3 nights at The Look Out staying in the sea view room, and it was everything and more that previous reviews have stated. Room immaculate, loved the Molten and Brown hand wash and hand cream in bathroom and chocolates every day on the tray, breakfast excellent and as for the view - pretty fabulous.... More

We spent 4 nights at The Lookout. Will defintely be recommending to famliy & friends if visiting this area. Set in the peaceful village of Pett with outstanding views of rolling countryside and a sea view at breakfast. Very friendly welcome from Laura & Stuart who provided an excellent breakfast (the salmon and scrambled eggs was particularly good). We stayed... More
