Although isla hayahay is not near the tourist area of alona beach having stayed at both I was thankful! This is truly a slice of peaceful paradise, the food is the best we have had in the Philippines it's all so tasty and of good quality and the menu gives you a variety of western,Filipino,Mexican and Chinese food. Me and... More

If you hanker for nightclubs and bars and white sandy beaches, then this resort is not for you. But if you enjoy friendly family-like staff and owners, and relaxing by the pool or overlooking a tranquil bay then I can strongly recommend this resort. My wife and I found this place exceptionally good value for money. The accommodation is basic... More

Excellent place for hideaway, quiet, nice view, calm water and by, perfect for kayiking during sunrise, sunset. Pool is great, room reasonably cozy. Owner and staff very friendly. Only problem is loction is a bit far to anywhere. and there is no beach in front of cottage. Other than that, grea place, reason pricing.

My husband and I stayed at Isla Hayahay at the beginning of January for three nights, it was the first island that we visited in the Philippines during our three week stay. Prior to arrival all communications were prompt and helpful. We opted to go with the 3 night package deal offered by the resort which included island hopping, snorkelling... More

I am 22 years at MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas,Nevada USA. I am critical of places to stay when on vacation. I have been all over the world from Belize to Florida USA, California, Japan,Korea. ... Isla Hayahay is simply perfect! All our needs were met and the Resort was clean and service was excellent. We had our second stay at Isla Hayahay in Decmber 2015. Since we were there last in 2012 this small resort has new owners and the facilities now include a pool with a water slide. The resort is located on the island of Pangangan, accessed via a long, partially surfaced, causeway from the main island of Bohol and the local... More

I've been meaning to write this review since we visited the Philippines back in June. We did the 2 night package deal at this place which meant airport transfer, snorkelling and a full day tour of the island (including chocolate hills, river cruise, the giant Python etc). It was definitely worth it! Despite arriving really late in the afternoon we... More

We visited Isla Hayahay from October 14th - 20th this year during our honeymoon trip to the Philippines. We were looking for somewhere quieter with excellent food and we had seen reviews on TripAdvisor about the amazing food. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. From our first lunch to our last, the staff cooked us traditional Filipino food... More

I caught the almost hourly Starcraft catamaran that took slightly more than the advertised hour to travel from Cebu City'sPier 1 to Tugibon (P280 in business class), then had a P20 transfer 400 metres to McDonalds in Tugibon and a P10 20 minute bus trip to Calape followed by a P100 tricycle transfer (sole use) to the small eight room...
