We have just returned from a week in Hay Mew and found it to be the best self catering accommodation we've ever stayed in. Chris and Fiona have provided everything you could possibly need to have a relaxing holiday. It is furnished to a high standard, is very clean and extremely comfortable. We wouldn't mind living there! Big Bertha the... More

Stayed in The Byre for a week at the end of September, whilst walking The Dales Way. Peaceful, very rural location, with the Dales Way immediately outside. Owners very welcoming, but unobtrusive. Accommodation light and airy, a superb, well equipped barn conversion, spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable. The conservation ethos runs through everything on the farm, and you are encouraged... The very best B&B we have stayed in. Delicious evening meal and wonderful breakfast. Luxurious rooms and bathrooms. Stunning location for a short stay amongst beautiful surroundings. Two bird hides worth a visit. Very welcoming and helpful hosts.

What a gem! Warm welcome home made flapjack, accommodation was best on the Dales Way. Admirable conservation minded hosts - used the bird hide. Delicious evening meal and breakfast - couldn't fault it.

Quite simply one of the very best bed an breakfast accommodation in which I have stayed. Delicious evening meal ( with wine one beer) and wonderful breakfast. Luxurious rooms and bathrooms. This organic farm and field centre is a stunning location full of interest. You will find your hosts hospitable and keen to meet individual needs.

We loved staying at Nethergill Farm while we did the Dales Way. We enjoyed staying at this beautiful working farm in Upper Wharfedale and admired how they are so conscious of their environment and sustainability. The dinner there was absolutely fantastic, and we were so glad we had reserved this, as it is not very close to any restaurants or... More

We stayed here when walking the Dales Way and it was without doubt the most memorable place we stopped at - for all the right reasons! If you're planning to do this walk, try to make sure you include this in your itinerary. Even if you can't stay there, visit for tea and biscuits and a look round the Field... More

Thought this place was closed whilst we were doing the Dalesway. Tried the handle and found it was open!!! Well worth a visit because there is nowhere else on the section of the walk. Would recommend it to any fellow walkers. £1.50 per cup of tea and 50p a flapjack.

Absolutely brilliant idea this farm is on the Dales Way route, It is a small visitor centre with facilities to make drinks and try the gorgeous homemade flapjack , here we met Vicky and the beautiful dogs who were looking after the farm at the time, we (myself and my Daughter Amy) enjoyed our visit here very much, (also toilet...
