We loved staying at Nethergill Farm while we did the Dales Way. We enjoyed staying at this beautiful working farm in Upper Wharfedale and admired how they are so conscious of their environment and sustainability. The dinner there was absolutely fantastic, and we were so glad we had reserved this, as it is not very close to any restaurants or... More

We stayed here when walking the Dales Way and it was without doubt the most memorable place we stopped at - for all the right reasons! If you're planning to do this walk, try to make sure you include this in your itinerary. Even if you can't stay there, visit for tea and biscuits and a look round the Field... More

Thought this place was closed whilst we were doing the Dalesway. Tried the handle and found it was open!!! Well worth a visit because there is nowhere else on the section of the walk. Would recommend it to any fellow walkers. £1.50 per cup of tea and 50p a flapjack.

Absolutely brilliant idea this farm is on the Dales Way route, It is a small visitor centre with facilities to make drinks and try the gorgeous homemade flapjack , here we met Vicky and the beautiful dogs who were looking after the farm at the time, we (myself and my Daughter Amy) enjoyed our visit here very much, (also toilet... We spent one night while walking the Dales Way. Lovely room, attentive hosts, excellent locally sourced food. Worth returning for a longer stay. We found the location marvellous, and enjoyed our short stay . Room was brilliant, confortable bed and newly appointed bathroom. Highly recommended

Hay Mew is a beautiful cottage within the wonderful location of Nethergill Farm. The cottage is light and airy and has everything you need. Fiona and Chris are warm and welcoming hosts and the welcome eggs, bread and flapjack delicious. The location is stunning and we had a lovely walk around the area and I spent a few hours in... More

Stayed here for one night while walking the Dales Way and had a lovely time. Welcomed at the door with tea and a superb flapjack awaiting after a long day's walk! Fiona and her husband were most welcoming and helpful, the meal was delicious and the bedroom extremely comfortable. The farm is quite remote but the views of the surrounding... More

We spent 3 days here over New Years Eve with another couple and it was heaven! The self catering cottage sleeps 4 (both ensuite rooms) and there is ample room for chilling out in front of the fire, playing games, drinking wine and eating Fiona's delicious food. We walked for miles in countryside that takes your breath away and returned... More
