Guana Island Club offers a drop-dead gorgeous natural setting. This small private island features beautiful beaches, brush covered mountains, and craggy sea cliffs. Totally unspoiled. Totally private with so many beaches and so few guests you can have a beach all to yourself. Hotel rooms consist mainly of white stone cottages dotted across a ridge with stunning views. Sitting on... More

Sleep with gentle breezes washing over you as leaves rustle outside your window, reconnect with nature on well marked and laid out trails, indulge in 3 sumptuous meals a day featuring local/fresh ingredients, swim in gentle waters from a long stretch of white sand beach, enjoy pampering from a warm and thoughtful staff, savor the intrigue of flora and fauna,... Guana is simplicity and luxury at the same time. Staff are great - as helpful or in the background as you want them to be. Just ask if you want something. Plenty to do - hiking, swimming, fishing, tennis or sitting on the beach (we excelled at that!). Its hard to put into words how difficult it is to leave... More

You can stop searching for the perfect tropical island getaway! This is it, don’t even browse one more page! You would be hard pushed to find someone who has higher expectations than me when it comes to staying in beautiful places. Without sounding like a complete travel bore I can assure you that when it comes to quality, I want... More

My wife knew we needed a getaway - just us - and she just wanted a place with blue water she could just watch and swim in (as well as a few dozen other needs). Luckily, I head been recommended by a friend to Guana Island. I had assumed it would be difficult to get there because it was a... More

Guana is extraordinary so I will not repeat all the positive remarks that others have said but I do want to add some comments from a parent's perspective. We have an active 7 year-old who is very comfortable in the water and enjoys nature. We were not sure if Guana would be as exciting for him as we expected it... More

Guana is truly extraordinary. We’ve just returned from 5 days on the island; and all other trips we’ve ever taken to the Carribean over the years (St. John, Virgin Gorda, St. Thomas, Barbados, Canouan) have been completely “blown out of the water” by Guana Island! We can’t wait to come back to this peaceful oasis with the most attentive staff... More

My wife and I went to Guana for our honeymoon, and it's hard to imagine how it could have been any better. The island is stunningly beautiful, the staff is friendly and accomodating, the rooms are lovely. And that's just the start! We hiked, we snorkeled, we sailed, we lounged on the beach, we had massages, we took a "castaway... More

When my (now) husband and i started to evaluate locations for our wedding we wanted somewhere that would be able to offer us and our family and friends a magical day to remember (for the right reasons) and Guana Island most definately fit the bill. Andrea and Emma ensured that nothing was overlooked - we were treated like royalty even... More

This is our 3rd stay at Guana. We have been to over 20 different spots throughout the Caribbean with Guana being our only repeat visit. We've never felt more comfortable at any other resort, probably because of its unique character based on long held traditions which adds a low key structure to one of the most beautiful settings in the...
