Val, the owner of Paradise House, was the most welcoming, caring landlady we have ever met. She went out of her way to make us and our baby daughter welcome. Add to that the very reasonable room rate and the stunning old house that is Paradise House, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We stayed at Paradise House last weekend to attend a wedding in the village and had such a lovely time. Val is an incredibly kind and warm hostess - happy to accommodate any requests and answer any questions - and her house is beautiful and well-placed to explore the medieval village and church at Croscombe. The room was clean and... More

Val runs one of the best B&B's we have every stayed in. Warm and friendly service in very comfortable and homely accommodation. Our delicious full English breakfast was served with panache and the was completed with a delicious array of jams and preserves. The blood orange marmalade would have won first prize in any cookery competition. Paradise House is the... More

We stayed here after attending a wedding at Wookey Hole and as soon as we arrived were offered tea and homemade cake (which was delicious). Val was so warm and friendly and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and we loved the homemade jams on offer. We were... More

This is a really high standard b & b. Everything about the room was good: comfortable, attractive, spotless, well equipped. Val is the friendliest of hosts and nothing is too much trouble for her. The food is excellent, with a wide range of breakfast choices: home made jams and marmalades, and lots of fresh fruit, as well as the cooked... More

Staying at Paradise House, a beautiful and comfortable B&B near Shepton Mallet made my week working as an interpreter at a conference near by! The homely and welcoming atmosphere and the delicious breakfasts are just a few of the reasons I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday!
