We stayed here for 1 night, at arrival the reception was quite cold welcome. The girl at reception who was doing the checkinn was talking with her colleague in Spanish, she did not even bother to say have a seat. When we got the key for our room, we were disappointed, small window and quite small. I checked and found... More

Absolutely amazing experience. It was in the middle of nowhere but this hotel was in great shape. It was quirky but refined. The view from our room was just jaw dropping. It was so romantic that I didn't want to leave! The food at the restaurant was amazing too. I would definetly go back to this hotel.

The hotel represents the modern side of the Rioja area and that is fun. The village is surprising with 45 bodegas and 200 inhabitants. Small, feels very safe and is excellent located between Haro and Laguardia with many wineries of upper Rioja available. The front desk staff was very helpful with recommendations for some special wineries and in making a... More

The Hotel Viura was the second leg of our trip across Rioja. The stark reality of the modern, avant garde design is a sharp contrast to the quaintness of the surrounding village, the hotel is located a few miles from the equally striking design of the Marques De Riscal. After the trial and tribulations of the first few days in... More

This Hotel is a great adventure... each wall has something interesting, and around every corner another surprise... but what makes it great is that the beds, rooms, and public spaces are all very nice and the staff warm and friendly.... we stayed both here and at the Marques Du Riscal... and both were architectural gems in their own right.... Our... More

We heard good things about this hotel and we were not disappointed. A great hotel with lovely staff and good food. Our greeting at reception was excellent very friendly and helpful. Loved our very modern room (although the view of the still green municipal pool not brilliant). The rooms are large and well appointed and very quiet. The restaurant was... More

We came here as our group was visiting different bodegas in the area. Gerard location and wonderful hotel. The staff made you feel welcome and the art and textures of the rooms and building were so welcoming. Will definitely come again. Also the restaurant had Realy good food.

Hotel Viura was fantastic. Everything and more than we expected. Calm, quiet, wonderful people and service. Restaurant 5 Star! We ate 2 nights from the 3 nights we stayed there. Great wine and tasteful food. The top balcony was a huge plus, perfect to drink a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful view from the Village. Waking up with... More

Viura is a most unusual place...in mostly good ways. It is a very modern hotel with minimalist furnishings in a tiny Rioja wine town....very convenient to many great wineries. Go for a suite with balcony facing the village. We heard that some rooms had tubs in the middle of the bedroom and not well partitioned toilets. The included breakfast was... More

An architecture jewel, industrial-minimalistic yet warm environment with the most incredible wine library (our last night there was an amazing impromptu gathering with a group of wine lovers from around the world), a XIV century tunnel made into a wine cellar, an invite to enjoy a wine pairing dinner (got an email days before our trip, which we considered amazing!)...
