My wife and I spent two days in Viura recently. The modern architecture of the hotel in thecentre of the old village of Villabuena works well to our opinion. Service was friendly. The rooms are good looking, offer enough space and good beds. The weakest point might be the rather deslote atmosphere in an hotel which is probably not very... More

Unexpected location for a hotel like this. Very interesting architecture, with clever amalgamation of glass, cement, wood and wine. The restaurant offers GREAT dinners and service. A bit far from Logrono. A great getaway spot.

Set in an attractive old town the quirky architecture looks out of place. Constructed of concrete and glass with rooms set at odd angles it creates quite an impression. The interior has polished concrete floors and walls combined with recycled timber. There are very pleasant gardens and sitting areas on the roof .The communal rooms are dramatically decorated in a... Genuine "boutique" all right! Interesting approach to "servcie" however! Wine bar opens at 7:30pm!? What kind of thinking is that!? Evne the Spnaiards like to quaff before that time! Or, free bikes that need to be junked? Watery coffee!?Huh!? (Tht wasn't SPAIN!....Made me feel like I was in Iowa....) 'nuf said that's negative:. the rooms were cool and the ambience... More

This quirky 4 star hotel is set in an old town and looks a bit out of place with the facades set at different angles. Looks at first can be deceptive. Our bedroom was very spacious with a balcony with a view over the town and swimming pool. WE enjoyed an excellent wine reception in their wine shop. The food... More

This hotel is lovely, very unusual looking, with large and comfortable rooms with a wierd lighting system and in my room, #203, a truly wierd sink with no comprehensible way to plug it up. I did ask on the second morning and was told one has to pry up a section of it and ask for a plug. (Not all... More

We were so happy with our stay at this hotel. The town has a population of 300 people with 45 bodegas! Great ratio! The staff at the hotel was courteous and accommodating. The wine shop next door is a great way to start off your evening and you must book dinner at the hotel and try their food. Our dinner... More

We spent two nights here and upgraded to a suite - you can negotiate over price. We got a wonderful room - large, amazing views, a lovely terrace plus a bath and coffee machine. We could have done with some comfortable chairs/loungers on the terrace. We thought the gourmet dinner with different wines for each course was excellent and breakfasts... More

We stayed here for two nights. Prior to the stay, the staff was very helpful with setting up tours of wineries in the area. The rooms are very modern and stylish. They have a rooftop terrace that was great for watching the sunsets. Compared to other places we stayed in the area, it was a little pricier, but it had... More

Only had two nights in this hard to find hotel....would have loved to stay longer. If you love modern architecture you will love this. Rooms are spacious and minimalist but very warm and cosy. Staff are great, breakfasts are a Spanish delight and costs are reasonable for this standard. To top it off, staff organised bookings at several local wineries...brilliant... More
