This is my second visit to Villiers Lodge whilst visiting our Grandson at Kingston University.Having stayed in the past at more expensive hotels,in the area we have now realised that the comfort and cleanliness and hospitality here are just wonderful, so there is no point in paying higher prices, when we are made to feel so at home by the... Love this B&B I travel a lot though the year for business and when in Kingston we always stay at 'Villiers Lodge'. Clean rooms, great location, ample parking in a quiet location. city centre is a 5 min walk away. manager Laura is a great host, and always cooks us up a lovely breakfast.

Very comfortable B&B, with friendly and helpful staff. The bedroom and bathroom have all the facilities you would expect for the price, and the breakfast was lovely. Off-road parking is also available. A couple of little things stopped us from giving it the full 5-star treatment - proper glasses in the bathroom instead of plastic ones (it reminded me of... More

Dear GrahamL, Thank you for your feedback. I am glad that overall you enjoyed your stay with us! I shall take your comments about the plastic cups on board. I apologise for the shortage of coat hangers in your room - that has been rectified. We keep side plates on the buffet table for guests to take at breakfast to... More

We were phoned the night before to check what time would be arriving which I thought was a nice touch and the room was ready when we got there. We spent one night in room 2 which is ground floor level. On arrival we were met by the lady who runs it and she was very helpful and gave us... More

Villiers Lodge is a well run B&B, managed by a young couple who provide all the services that guests need. That said, I felt that had the owners been on hand, there would have been a few more homely touches. Everything is clean ( although the carpet could do with a shampoo ) and neat, but somehow sterile? Got everything right. Good value. Good sleep. Quiet location. Parking, Stylish but not pretentious. Professional service. Tidy and clean. Garden. Breakfast well covered. What is done is done well. Do not agree with some reviews on breakfast. Lovely building. All services work well - really nice shower. All round feel-good factor, which is what you want when you go away.

Nice size room, double bed, little sofa in window bay, built in wardrobe, flat tv, tea and coffee making facilities, modern bathroom, nice towels and most... More
