Alberto is a very attentive host. He asked us our plans, gave suggestions for restaurants and booked tables for us. We approved of his choice of restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit, yogurts, eggs and wonderfully fresh bread, croissants. The custard filled croissants melted in the mouth. The Zen garden will be open now so we look forward to a... More

I hesitate writing this review... not because I don't have anything good to say about it (quite the opposite) but because I am afraid a "too good to be true" review will make it more difficult for us to book a room in the future :-) Then again, I hope this review helps other people find their way to the... By far one of the best experiences we've had in Europe. Location was perfect - centrally located if you want to experience the Italian Lakes area. Best part was the owner - Alberto. He should be the anointed "Italy's Official welcoming host". Incredibly hospitable, warm, accommodating, engaging and very knowledgeable of the area including where to eat. He also makes... More

The bed was enormous and extremely comfortable and the owner proudly explained some of the hotel's eco-friendly features to us. The breakfast was delicious and featured jams made from fruits grown in the hotel's garden (which is... More

My friend and I said there for 2 night and it was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are clean, comfortable and design. Very nice bathrooms with "The Occitane" amenities. The breakfast was good and variate. The location is very convenient: 15 minutes away from the lake. You would however need to have a car. It is very unusual for me to... More

(L'Occitaine toiletries).Very good 'eco' credentials. Photovoltaic for electricity generating, solar heat exchange for hot water and geo-thermal for air conditioning. Electric bicycles for use by guests. Beautiful gardens also include fruit trees and produce. Wonderful... More
