Recently stayedin Kilkhampton and visited the New Inn several times for food which was delicious. Good value for money. The landlord was very friendly and his local knowledge of the area was brilliant. Without him we would have missed out on several places of interest. He definately goes the extra mile to make visitors welcome.

We were on holiday in Hartland and were told that the New Inn provided a great Sunday lunch and we were delighted to find that the recommendation was well earned. We decided on the roast lamb and it was pink and tender, just the way we like it. All the many accompanying vegetables were good, especially the cauliflower cheese and... More

Once again Chris, Yvonne and Mark provide excellent service and lovely company. The New Inn always comes up trumps, going out of their way to provide a wonderful meal once again!. Thanks for always doing a fab job!

Chris, Yvonne and Mark are the most pleasant (and hard working) people in Cornwall. I have been here a few times now. 4 years since my last visit and from the minute I walked through the door they made me feel like I was at home away from home. They have a really nice pub in a teeny town and... More

I ate Sunday lunch here this week with my partner. It's the second time we have had Sunday lunch here. I must say both times it was delicious just a lovely lunch. It's not always easy to get a really good roast out but you cannot go wrong here. There was no wait at all, we did book I think... More

We called in, by chance, and, luckily, they had a vacant room for the night. On our way back from Cornwall, and feeling pretty tired, we were so pleased to find such a lovely, friendly Inn. Very clean and comfortable and lots of 'little extras'. The first hot towel rail of the season too ! Papers on the table at... More

This is one of those pubs that do not look that inviting from the outside , inside however it full of old English charm , the locals obviously love it and why not for this is probably the best Cornish meal ( or is it Devon ) we have ever had . Will definately use in the future

We have visited this pub a number of times for meals, which are always good, plentiful and well presented. Interesting that they can actually let you know which cow the steaks are from and from which local farm. Shall definitely keep this on our regular visit list whenever in Cornwall.

We live quite close to this pub and go there fairly often for a drink and/or a meal. Good basic pub grub at reasonable prices, good beer and a nice atmosphere. Be warned, it gets very busy during peak holiday periods.

We often stay with friends in Kilkhampton and sometimes hire a cottage for a week in the summer and we always make sure we go to the New Inn for drinks and a meal or two. It's such a lovely atmosphere with really friendly staff - a proper local pub. The food is really good too and they serve freshly... More
