Took a group of colleagues and overseas visitors recently for a "skittles-and-beer" evening. Service and welcome could not have been better and organising it was made very simple by the accommodating nature of the owners. Rooms are finished to a very high standard and the food was fantastic. Large portions and lots to choose from. Would recommend the steak from a local farm. Great mix of old and new, lovely village pub, friendly staff / owners with state of the art bedrooms.

My partner and I stopped here for dinner one night and it was the best meal we ate while in the area. We both had one of the specials which were cooked beautifully and reasonably priced. We will be back when we are next in the area!

A very warm welcome by the owners. The pub is traditional, dark but large with an extension housing a pool table. The rooms are very modern, clean and spacious. A real find
