We enjoyed a one night stay here on the way to Ooty. It was a memorable and nice experience..The rooms were excellent with high quality service and food. The water park near by adds extra pleasure to your stay..Must to visit if staying here. Its a value for money deal.

We spent one night in the Black Thunder Resort. I found the town depressingly squalid and was surprised to see the vast property of this resort. I stayed with my family a year ago while travelling to Ooty. The food was tasty especially the ghee roast dosa with chutney and the coffee.... stay was comfortable and pleasant and the night was quieter. When ever get chance will stay there. Its bit costly but nice stay.

Advised of limited options in Mettupalayam for overnight stay prior to the pre dawn train to Ooty we were very pleasantly surprised by our stay here.
