Scott's Head Camping Reserve, now part of North Coast Holiday Parks, offers safe clean and family friendly camping and has done since 1978 when first I visited the area. I have holidayed here with my family for years and this unspoilt secret of the North Coast remains just that, unspoiled. The local council has long resisted rampant development of this... More

Nice location with beach. We arrived with our new camper trailer, found space was tight and close to other campers. Amenties block was very clean. There is a club just at the end of the park which was handy. Not too good for fishing as ocean was rough, we ended up going to stuarts point for fishing. The local store... More

Absolutely beautiful location. Friendly helpful manager. Adjoining club, handy for drinks and good meals. Amenities, immaculate (and I am the hotel inspector :-) ) Will definitely recommend and definitely be back. Some of the negative comments were hilarious...'ants', 'noisy campers'. Perhaps a hotel room would be a better choice for some. We loved it. Definitely worth a visit.

Booked in for 2 nights and only stayed 1. We were given the option of 3 campervan sites. The one we chose we found to be suitable for a tent only as there was no access out once the next site was taken. The vehicles from the opposite sites blocked our way out too. Although we were given the option... More

Love this place quiet friendly amenities clean and tidy. Staff helpful and cheery. The beach is right on your doorstep and is a magnificent piece of coastline. Great for swimming surfing fishing or just that gorgeous sunset stroll along the beach. We took our four legged friend with us as they are pet friendly in the off season (not sure... More

“NOT HAPPY JAN” Beautiful beach but the camp is very retro, like 1950’s bush camping. We were put on a site beside chain smokers so we moved. It was OK but like camping in a cemetery, they have big white crosses holding the water taps. After 4 days our caravan was infested with ants. Toilets & amenities were very clean... More

Been coming here for 6 years with my children and 3 other families, but unfortunately with the manager of this year and last year I felt like I was on school camp with a bad teacher. The place is beautiful (water was dirty due to floods but that was expected) says its dog friendly but he seemed to have a... More

Originally we only intended staying for 2 nights, we ended up staying for 4!! Lovely site, great beach just yards away. As well as the usual bbqs there is an efficient camp kitchen with constant boiling water, microwave, toaster and electric ring. Friendly management. Very clean amenities.
