I stayed here twice, both for one night only, and I knew that on both occasions I would only be in the room to sleep. The hotel is clean enough and the landlady is very friendly. Wifi is good, and the location is good for West Bridgford and not too far from the centre of town. However, the rooms are... More

6 of us stayed at the Gallery Hotel for one night (across 3 rooms) - but never again. The owner greeted us by reading the riot act and telling us the showers didn't work very well "but we could always try the communal shower on the first floor". She was right - the showers in 2 of the 3 rooms... More

I stayed here and I have to sa it was the worst hotel experience I have ever endured. Shower cubical in the room made for interesting sharing, damp, cold but slept on top of the sheets as they were filthy. NEVER again!

Luckily I have been here only for 2 nights. The hotel was dirty, impolite staff (except the blond lady in the morning), shower that had no pressure - impossible to wash your hair and last but not least a shared toilet! And that for £52/night. Extortion I call that. If you can please book another hotel, this is a waste... More

The hotel itself is actually a repurposed large terraced house, so expect inconsistency between room sizes and layouts. The car park to the side is shared with residents and there are notices up showing which spots are taken; nonetheless you shouldn't have any issues with finding a spot, and the way to reception via their front door is clearly marked.... Was really looking forward to this weekend, Thank god my night out with the girls was great but unfortunately I was completely let down by this hotel. On arrivel was greeted by a nice lady and then was shown to our room which basically was a basement downstairs as soon as we entered it was cold, damp and unwelcoming.Thought oh... More

If you are a purveyor of electronic items then you would have enjoyed the fine selection of 8 spare plug sockets available in our bedroom. Unfortunately, none of these were connected to a bedside lamp or hair dryer (which could not be found). The TV was smaller than an iPad Mini and the 'double' bed consisted of two single beds... Not quite sure what the other reviewers have experienced, but our stay was very good - lovely room, good hot shower, great welcome from Dawn who looked after us throughout, simple but perfectly fine breakfast - just what we'd have at home: cereal, toast, yoghurt orange juice and fresh fruit. There was some road noise, but not the stop-start type... More

If you are expecting waited service, bidets and haute quisine, this ain't the place for you. If, however, you're looking for an honest basic place to rest your head it's great. Free parking, wifi and breakfast, ideally located for the sports grounds, and a myriad of great bars in the area too.

We've stayed here a few times now and pretty much always go back. Last time we stayed we were in the downstairs apartment as I had not long had an operation and couldnt manage the stairs. Room was lovely and big - three beds although there was only two of us, and a bath which was a nice surprise. The... More
