This hotel desperately needs some cleaning and modernising. It is dated and dirty. I kept my shoes all the time and even the moment I stepped out of the shower! Not worth the money they charge. It is in a good location but guests will stop coming if they do not invest in the business. I did not think places... More

Booked this hotel for the cricket at Trent Bridge. Ideal location for the ground and within walking distance of plenty of other points of interest. Welcome was very friendly and polite and they let me leave my car at the hotel even though I wasn't checking in until the evening, they even asked if I wanted to leave my bags... More

The room was basic and clean but run down and cold. The overall impression I got was that everything had been done 'on the cheap'. I felt that it was over priced. The staff that I met were charming warm and welcoming, the hotel was not.

It is not a pleasant place. Overpriced and run down. If you have any difficulties in walking then avoid this place like the plague...no lifts, narrow steep stairs. Rooms are adequate, just. Breakfast was continental....if you lived on a far off continent. I enjoy a continental breakfast...this was NOT like any ontinental breakfast I have EVER experienced before. Handy for... More

I stayed here for one night before the outlaw half. Having to get up at 4am and check out was no problem and they even had nightstaff on serving breakfast and on hand to help out, which is especially handy at that time of the morning. The hotel itself is dated, but for the price, it does what it says... More

The woman who was apparently a receptionist had the worse manners i have come across and even had the nerve 2 call me rude. Rooms were tiny for the price we felt like sardines. Twice i booked a room in advance and they had double booked it. But worst of all the shower just dripped when you have been on... More

Probably the worst place we have ever stayed in. Tatty, dirty, cramped rooms. Walls so thin you can hear your neighbour snoring. No glasses in room, no hairdryer. Towels not changed, used cup not washed. Coffee in drinkable. We stayed here because of proximity to the City Ground, but never will again. Avoid it like the plague.

Stayed last night on a stag do, not expecting anything great, however this place is more hostel than hotel! Very very dated, poor decor, awful mattress, dirty walls. booked twin rooms ended up in rooms with 4 beds. English breakfast extra £4, wouldn't bother nip to Maccy D's across the road. The place really is poor value for money. Spend... More

Worst place I may have stayed in! We were in a twin room in the 'loft'. The beds were very uncomfortable and a little lumpy. The ensuite was so small that you couldn't sit on the toilet straight, and there was no working loo roll holder, the shower was held in place with duct tape, the water took forever to... More

6 of us needed somewhere to stay relatively close to the city centre at short notice for a night out. This place ticked all the boxes. It was cheap & cheerful. You are within a 2 minute walk of the cricket ground & the Forest ground with a 24hour Macdonalds just across the road. Taxi to the city centre is... More
