Last visited on February 14th. This is about the eighth time we've been and each time is as good as the last. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is always excellent and always hot and served on hot plates. The venison and steaks are a real favourite. It was our son that suggested we try it as he said we... More

Came here for an evening meal in December 2014 and it was fabulous. The service from both the bar staff and restaurant staff was excellent and the food was a joy to behold. A lot of the menu appeared to be around local produce and it was cooked to perfection. It is a lovely part of the countryside with some... More

We came across this place when we were out for our New Year's Day walk, and dropped in for a restorative drink - they serve Donnington's Ales, which are very good. Even if we had wanted to eat there, I doubt that we could have done so as they seemed to be fully booked, which is probably not an infrequent... More

My daughter and I had lunch at the Plough a few days ago and were really impressed. The food was first class. It was fresh, tasty, well presented and a reasonable price. The service was good and the atmosphere welcoming. If we lived a bit nearer we would definately be returning.

Visited The Plough last week for dinner and we were really impressed. A lovely character pub providing friendly and efficient customer service, good food and drink, a super atmosphere and fair prices can only contribute to a very pleasant evening in my view. Happy punter here and looking forward to another visit soon

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding in Winchcombe and Sudeley Castle. The accommodation is first class with lots of attention to detail in the rooms. The pub is lively with lots of locals visiting, we ate in the pub on our first night. The food was excellent with great choice. The breakfasts were superb. The staff are... More

We stayed just the one night at the Plough on our way down south. It was very busy when we arrived but we were very quickly looked after and even offered a hand with our luggage. The room was clean, spacious enough and comfortable. We had an evening meal which was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was... More

I was taken here for lunch by my daughter as she lives nearby. We were a party of five, including 2 boys, aged 8 and 14. We all had excellent meals, not one complaint amongst them and all good portions. In fact, the youngest had fishfingers and 6 was really too many for him! The oldest had an adult gammon... More

We popped in for lunch when travelling back from Bourton on the Water and it looked inviting. Pros - the food was delicious, and really fresh. I had the pie of the day and it was full of meat and flavour. Prices were reasonable and it was very cosy and snug as a restaurant. Cons - we weren't sure of... More

Thank you for the review. We do have locals here but many people travel here regularly from all over the country and all over the world. We make everyone welcome. Obviously if we are extremely busy it isn't so easy to spend time with each customer, but we always try to make everyone feel appreciated, which they are More

Busy pub with a nice feel, quite a strange set up to order as the staff didn't really seem to want to leave behind the bar. The food was nice, a little salty for us but that is just personal taste all in all quite pleasant and would go back.
