Booked Sunday lunch with friends. Seating by fire was so dark you could not see. Were hoping for a pre-lunch drink by the fire but were told that we needed to move to our table as they had 150 covers that day and they needed a turn round on the tables. The food was OK but over priced. they had... More

Very welcoming by the staff on arrival, our room (3) was spotless and furnished with oak wardrobe and cabinets. The first problem was the bed, having booked a double room you don't expect two twin beds pushed together, causing a ridge down the centre of the bed. I'd ordered as an extra advertised service flowers for my wife's birthday which... More

There were so many positive reviews about the Inn and the Pub food that I was swayed to stay at this Inn by the comments. It looked so nice and was very reasonably priced. I could have stayed anywhere in the Cotswolds really for my trip. I have to say I was delighted and would happily stay there again. I... More

Stayed here on a Friday night whilst travelling further south. What a great place. We had room 5 which was a disabled access room on the ground floor around the back of the Inn. The rooms was lovely. Spotless with great furnishing and nice and warm. The bathroom was spotless with a shower cubicle. Nice big comfy twin link double... More

My girlfriend and I stayed last Sunday for one night for a quick break away. It's a good location for visiting Cirencester (about 8 miles away) and Cheltenham (10 miles away), is based on an A Road so is very easy to find and has a nice view opposite. The inn interior was really nice (both the bar and through... More

I can't say enough good things about The Colesbourne Inn. This was my second stay and definitely not my last. The Inn is cosy with a lovely friendly atmosphere and you can relax on a comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The staff cannot do enough for you and the food is simply gorgeous. The rooms are comfortable,... More

Early on a cold evening and stepping through the door to the bar, we were met with a warm welcome, not just from the staff but the several log fires burning in the bar and eating areas. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly and the food excellent. We both opted for the liver and bacon which was very tasty and... More

Decided to stay a night here in January with my wife. We had experienced the problems of overpriced, trendy Cotswold pubs/restaurants earlier in the day and were delighted to stay in a welcoming, cosy, well priced real pub. We sat on slightly tatty ( but better for it) leather seats in front of one of the 4 log fireplaces and... More

Went here for a family birthday do - 8 people. The food was pretty good, but not exceptional. There is plenty of choice and a good variety. However, my risotto was not hot enough, lukewarm (but tasted OK). The open fire was great on a January night and the atmosphere was very nice. The service was poor - it took... More
