Initially I had ordered fish but the delivery was late I am glad it was as in place of the fish I had an excellent burger and hand cut chips. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly I will recommend the pub to... we stopped in for drinks at a proper English pub. The locals enjoy this watering hole and it was easy to see why. Vicky tended bar and made us feel very comfortable, offering samples of the different beers on tap. highly recommend for those travelers who want excellent customer service and an authentic experience.

We enjoyed a very good meal at The Griffin. The choice was good and service excellent and the food was all freshly prepared. The Griffin is a pleasant village pub restaurant with a friendly atmosphere.

Twenty-five of us gathered at the Griffin on Easter Sunday for an 80th Birthday Celebration, and we couldn't have asked for more. Vicky was more than helpful with the arrangements beforehand, and she made us most welcome when we all arrived. It is difficult to deal with a large group, but Vicky with her charming personality - assisted by her... More

Vicki and Stuart have recently taken over the Griffin and are doing a smashing job, bringing this pub back to life after some bad years in other hands. It is rapidly becoming the centre of Yoxford village life again, with well kept beers and good food. Curry night last night was a joy, absolutely delicious - authentic Punjabi food all... More

Just attended a wonderful authentic Indian evening hosted by Vicki and Stuart attended by some great friends and locals. This is the 2nd such event for our new landlords and I hope that they make this a regular event and that they make authentic Indian cuisine their unique selling point. Many pubs in the area offer a traditional English menu,... More

A wonderful welcome, a friendly atmosphere and easily the best Indian food I've had in Suffolk. Three courses, with the main comprised of three different dishes and all originating from Punjab. Extraordinary value for money and service was great too. Recommended.

After a country walk this is a fab, cosy pub to cuddle up in next to the log burner. Their hot chocolate is delicious in the extreme, because Vicky understands hot chocolate, and a nice pint of ale for my boy. Perfect, thank you Vicky & Stewart.
