We stayed here at the start of August after coming down for a friend's wedding. Louise and Dave were great; really welcoming and approachable to chat to but also left us to settle in. The bed was big and comfortable whilst the room felt private and nicely furnished. Cooked breakfast and fruit was delicious in the morning, especially after the... More

We arrived after a long day cycling the South Downs way with our 14 year old son. We had a great room with large bed. Bathroom all very nice. We were made to feel very welcome by our excellent host. Great situation for stopping off on the South Downs way, pub within walking distance and M&S food store for buying... More

On our arrival we received a very warm welcome. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the bathroom facilities were super. The owners are very accommodating, and though this is also their house we didn't feel like intruders and our room felt very private. Breakfast was great. We particularly felt that our little boy was very welcome. We highly... More

We booked this B&B because we were attending a local wedding reception in Pyecombe. Wonderful location, stunning views, lovely house and rooms, Louise and Dave made us and our children feel really at home. Would highly recommend to anyone and would use again if we are ever in the area again.

Very Nice B&B Perfect for on route of the South Downs Way! David & Louise make you feel very welcome. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the Breakfast was good with a nice choice of food. Would definitely recommend it and book again if we are in the area.

We had a lovely stay at the White House while walking on the South Downs in May. The accommodation was very attractive and comfortable and the breakfast set us up for a full day of activity. Louise and Dave were wonderful hosts and made both us and our Jack Russell feel very much at home! The local pub, The Plough,... More

The White House is beautiful and, although it looks as if it is sandwiched between 2 busy roads on the map, in fact it is very quiet and the village of Pyecombe is lovely. We had a huge comfortable bed and a huge white, private bathroom. Louise was really welcoming and so was her lovely pet dog! The pub was... More

Stayed here for one night with a mate whilst cycling the South Downs Way in July 2011. A friendly welcome and drink (why don't all b and b's do this?) and a great breakfast the next morning. The White House is luxurious (but our hosts didn't mind our cycling gear!) with a brilliant shower and an excellent room and beds.... More
