We stayed in a double room on a Sunday night. Paid £35 for B&B. The room was clean and modern but bathroom was a little small but had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and plentiful. All staff were helpful and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

First time at the Coachman following an unsuccessful attempt at my first choice location. It's a bar, restaurant & function suite with all sections occupied and busy, so it obviously does something right. In this case it's the food, the quality cannot be faulted but the portion sizes could easily be reduced (not too much but I don't like leaving... More

We went here for ab evening meal. The food was excellent and usually always is here. It has a special offer on Monday and Tuesday for 2 people to dine and its fantastic value. Cannot fault the food. What does let it down is the service, it took 30 minutes for us to get our dinner served. Not acceptable seeing... More

went for a meal . Service slow. Waiter was verging on rude when I asked a question about the offer menu whilst ordering. Waited half an hour for meals and wanted to order more drinks however staff did not come back near our table . Eventually got the bill and wanted to pay by card however after ten mins went... More

I went here for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very attentive and the food was exceptional. We dined on the special menus at 2 can dine for £12.99 and the selection was good.my husband had not been here for a while and he very much enjoyed his dinner too. Great food, great prices and great atmosphere.

What can I say. 8 of us all had different meals and they were all lovely. Service was excellent especially our waiter Jamie. Not in your face but there when you needed him. Very pleasant guy as were all the staff. Would highly recommend this place..... oh and the steak pie.

Stayed one night with friend in twin room while walking part of the John Muir Way. Accommodation was excellent both in quality and price - we paid £52.50 for twin room B&B. On a Monday night you expect the dining room to be quiet. On arrival the receptionist asked if we would be eating in, when we said "yes" she... More
