Booked our works XMAS party night here ... What a total disaster .. Terrible service, awful food .... Worst cheesecake ive ever had in my entire life, useless DJ ... First Xmas party night I've ever been to with no party games , DJ left his post a lot and simply left music playing... No rapport with the little crowd... More

Stayed one night with friend in twin room while walking part of the John Muir Way. Accommodation was excellent both in quality and price - we paid £52.50 for twin room B&B. On a Monday night you expect the dining room to be quiet. On arrival the receptionist asked if we would be eating in, when we said "yes" she... More

Their are not too many hotels around the Kilsyth area but luckily I came upon the Coachman through an Internet site and duly booked for 3 nights. Very well situated for the Glasgow area and easy to find right in the centre of Kilsyth on the main road, which did not turn out to be a noise problem as I... More

Visited the restaurant for lunch on 9th Oct. 14. Not been in for a few months but everything still great. Restaurant was quiet, but we where shown to a next table at the window. The late lunch menu is available from 12 noon till 6pm and it is fantastic value. 2 courses for £8.95 or 3 for £11.95. There is... More

My boyfriend booked this for a wee random night away not too far from home. We checked in and i was very surprized at the size of the room and bathroom. We had dinner downstairs in the restaurant, there was a offer of 2 steaks and wine for GBP 35.00, great value for money, and the bar drinks were really... More

I stayed here for two nights in September 2014 with my son-in-law. We were in Scotland to watch the Ryder Cup held at Gleneagles. The Hotel is very easy to find and not too far from the M80 Motorway (far enough away so no noise from that direction). Leaving M80 at junction 7 gets you straight there. On checking in... More

We stayed here on a Saturday night, going out to another function locally. We returned at midnight to a sea of revellers outside the hotel and the accompanying noise from the disco and also a private party. Our room was to the front with the hilarity reaching a creashendo around 01.30 am. This seems to be a regular occurance at... More

Booked and stayed at The Coachmen for the 2014 Ryder Cup. What a fantastic hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and great food. I have to say that if you stay here at the weekend, the hotel is a favourite with the locals for a drink and a dance so you can expect music until midnight but this was... More

We booked this hotel a long time ago and asked then and confirmed our request about 6 weeks to have a rear room away from the bar/restaurant - having read previous reviews. On arrival you can imagine our reaction when we were not only at the front but room directly over the bar. Despite the fact that at least 3... More
