A large group of us stopped from 27th February 2015-2nd March 2015. Really easy check in, room was spacious and good value for money. Breakfast was really, really good. Asked if you wanted tea or coffee as soon as you walked in and sat down. But what really stood out is the night bar man....GARY!! That man is a legend,... More

This hotel is not too different in the rooms to many corporate hotels around the country. There was supposed to be free wifi but not found. Also although the rooms are mostly in a linked building at the back there is a bit of an issue with noise when there is a party on or one of their popular tribute... More

The room looked nice and the entertainment was reasonable. Service staff were pleasant but clearly understaffed. Some diners had finished a course while others still being served. The soup was okay. Main was fine but nut roast a bit like stuffing and cranberry basket was missing in action. Brandy and peppercorn sauce was but artificial tasting. Cheesecake was awful. Very... More

When we arrived at the hotel it looked a bit tired and nothing special. However once inside the reception was modern and clean, staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was very nicely decorated with matching accessories, the toilet was modern with a jacuzzi bath and one of the best showers I've had. The meals were lovely and a... More

I booked a new years eve party at our local hotel, The King Robert, Bannockburn, Stirlingshire in July 2014 as we never had a chance to go out on new years eve due to work commitments or being asked to boring family parties. I can say that the £49 pp that we spent was well worth it. We were led... More
