I stayed here for a single overnight, and from the moment I walked through the door I was disappointed. The initial disappointment was that there was no riser to assist with luggage, and it could not be rolled into the lobby - mine was heavy - and there was nobody around to assist. Having got to the front desk, I... More

My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the King Robert Hotel to break up our journey home after staying in the Highlands. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. As other reviewers have commented the hotel is slightly dated and the decor a bit tired, but it is very clean and warm. The Internet access was free without the... More

Just returned from a "Freddie Mercury" Tribute night and it was brilliant. A group of us celebrated a 60th birthday staying at the hotel on a bed, breakfast, dinner and show package which is amazing value for money. The food is very good. The bedrooms are large, warm, comfortable and very clean but I agree with most other reviews, the... More

Just returned from a Tibute Weekend at the King Robert Hotel which was great, but the biggest impression was the staff who were excellent and couldn't do enough for us. They made us feel like family and were so cheery and helpful - all of them. Other hotels should take note. Never been to such a friendly hotel. Oh, by... More

Booked a tribute weekend for my friend and I. We had a great weekend. the staff are warm and friendly and go out of their way to be helpful and the food is great and so was the service. We received a lovely welcome. The room was clean and both room and bathroom spotless. Meals were great and always warm... More

The King Bob is a great place if you aren't particularly looking for comfy lounges and peace and quiet. The team at the King Robert are so friendly, welcoming and certainly make guests feel at home. So much so that even though I was on business there, I was wearing my slippers whilst setting up for a corporate event... Nothing... More

I live local so I wouldn't normally have to stay here however I was attending a function upstairs. The hotel itself is quite comfortable although not really modern as such. The bedroom was comfortable, clean and did the job. Staff were also very friendly. Wifi strength was very good. The food however is what makes the hotel. Dinner was fantastic... More
