Wonderful view of the mountains, surrounded by fynbos, peaceful and tranquil. Facility is kept immaculately clean, unit is modern, loved the big shower which always had piping hot water and fluffy white towels. Era and Raol were exemplary hosts paying attention to every detail and made time to spend with us. They treated us to sundowners on their upstairs patio... More

A more friendly and spontaneous couple you could not wish to meet. Raoul and Era were so interesting and easy going that we could have chatted to them for many hours more. From the moment we arrived we were treated to a relaxing welcome drink on the patio followed by a delicious 'lamb potjie'. We even spotted a whale! Stayed... More

The van den Bergs left no stone unturned to make our short stay memorable. The Penguin suite was spotlessly clean, the beds and pillows superb, linen and towels sparkling white. Lovely views of the mountain, good food and hospitality. The hosts handled our airport transfers and entertained us during the drive by sharing their local knowledge. We'll be back soon.

“Penguin Suite”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Rooms were super clean, comfortable and relaxing. Our Penguin Suite was a perfect getaway for our short little trip to Betty's Bay. Breakfast was delicious and the hospitality and kindness of our hosts was exemplary! We will definitely be back again! Thank you so much!

We have visited Van den Bergs Guesthouse recently and we absolutely loved our stay there! The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. Great value for money, beautiful interiors, excellent linen and a sublime breakfast will make us return in the near future! Thank you for everything!
