I have learned that good service and quality rooms take hard work and a lot of care. After a 3 night stay at Casa Alvarada, I can say that the owners/mangers must be very hard workers indeed! The attention to detail is amazing and they have turned hospitality into a science. We left feeling satisfied and very happy!
Beyond that,...

Jupiter and Mara run the place with genuine enthusiasm and cook up...

Our family of six stayed at Casa Alvarada for 6 nights. We stayed in the El Moñar Rangeliano and rented one other room. Jupiter and Mara were wonderful hosts and our family had great time seeing the sites around the Comala area. Every morning Jupiter made our family breakfast, fresh squeezed fruit juice, Comala coffee, fresh fruit, local pan "bread"...

The bed and breakfast, with four bedrooms all with separate baths is very conveniently located near the main plaza. A garden provides outdoor space, and stepping out onto the street is a splendid view of Comala's two other-worldly volcanoes. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. The charming hosts prepare and serve a very beautiful and delicious breakfast every...
