My husband and I returned yesterday after our week at La Ferme du Prieure. We have 3 boys age 7, 5 and 3 who declared our experience as our best holiday ever! With 2 young children (2 and 4) we thought it would be fun to try this on our way through France. Great long weekend on the farm in Picardie, at an authentic farm run by a lovely couple. Our children loved it, we enjoyed the quiet time and the comfortable nights in our tent. Calling it camping may be a bit of a stretch but it involved sleeping under canvas, no electricity and real fires. The flushing loo, running water and comfy beds made up for all of this though.
