Chose due to good reviews and closeness to Haynes Motor and Fleet Air Arm Museums which I visited on way to Portsmouth. Very welcoming and friendly. Better service than some hotels I have been to. Nice food.

We were going to Cornwall and decided to book a stopover at Hawk house. Firstly I was very impressed with how clean our room was, our room was at the back so it was away from the traffic noise. The room was equipped with everything we needed tea , coffee and toiletries and the shower was nice and strong. The... More

I was booked into Hawk House on business. It was a lovely place to stay, the room was well appointed with everything a traveller needs. Beautiful toiletries were provided, including a flannel which shows consideration of travellers which usually forgotten these days! There is a TV, CD player combined with radio and clock alarm. The tea and coffee tray is... More

Only a one night stay travelling down to Somerset, but would recommend to all. Clean and very welcoming, and staff that go the extra to ensure your stay is a good one. A nice room with all you need for a comfortable stay and a good nights rest. Wayne's bar and Bistro is next door where you have your breakfast... More

We only stayed one night, but this was one of our most enjoyable hotel stays. The room was well equipped and was exceptionally clean. Food is served in the adjacent 'grill'. Apart from the hearty complementary breakfast, a good meal can be had here for a very reasonable price. From start to finish the staff were absolutely brilliant. We didn't... More

This B&B is very nice indeed. If you want a clean, quiet and modern establishment this could be for you. We stayed one night on our way to Weymouth and had a good nights sleep. The bed was comfortable, tea, coffee, biscuits tray and usual toiletries supplied. We had our evening meal in the Bistro and enjoyed the food, which... More

Very warm welcome to this most comfortable wayside accommodation. We were anxiously looking for a place to stay late afternoon and thankfully came across Hawks House. The rooms are not huge but they are very well appointed and very comfortable indeed. The staff made sure we had everything we needed for a restful sleep. A most reasonably priced hotel with... More

Had a 2 night stopover here to enable us to visit the Fleet Air Arm museum and Longleat. The room was of a good size, extremely clean and a lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast was in the bistro, which is also on the same site, there was a great choice for breakfast, which is all locally sourced. Very high standards all... More

This is perfectly situated on the A303 just between the Fleet Air Arm Museum and the International Motor Museum and easily within range of Longleat. Upon check in we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room which was well furnished and spotlessly clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble and would highly recommend it to anyone... We were stuck for accommodation and went on the internet to look for a local hotel. Most places were full but we dound this place with a room. When we pulled up outside we found it to be on the busy A303 and it looked like a motel with a bistro attached. We had no option but to go in.... More
