Stayed here end of March as attending RNAS Yeovilton for sons wings parade, close to base only 5 mins car drive, room was great, breakfast was lovely, people so friendly, would defiantly stay here again, if we have to come down again, could not fault this place at all.

My husband and I have driven past Wayne's Bar and Bistro for months, having maintained a long distance relationship that took in much of the A303. We decided to stop this weekend after taking my dad to the Haynes Motor Museum nearby and were so impressed! It was very busy (always a good sign) and we were greeted as soon... More

We stayed here because we had some tickets for the Fleet Air Museum for Christmas. This hotel is just minitues away. What a great place, lovely service, made to feel very welcome, food & staff in the Bisto were friendly & polite. If in this part of the world again would most certainly stop again.

We recently stayed at Hawk House and could not fault it at all. Wayne made us really welcome and made sure we had a great stay. The room was great, food was delicious and the staff were really friendly. Definitely worth staying here!

We stopped for breakfast on the way to Cornwall at about 8.40am. It wasn't heaving but someone else had stopped just before us. The full english breakfast was absolutely great. " rashers of bacon, a sausage, fried egg, a tomato, 2 hash browns, lots of mushroom and baked beans, with toast. It was nicely presented, the staff friendly and we... More

Slow down on the A 303 westbound or you will miss this jewel. it is the only independent indoor eating place on the A 303 and it deserves to be a success. We stopped for lunch enroute to Taunton. We were welcomed with a big smile and a friendly greeting. The bistro was spotless and we had a superb lunch... More

Haven't stayed at Hawks House, but we ate in Wayne's Bistro this evening and were very impressed. We both had a carvery meal. The portion was generous and the meat was moist and suculent. Was impressed the vegetables were not soggy and tasted fresh. The roast potatoes were crisp and the gravy had lots of flaovour. We were impressed by... More

This was a useful place to stay overnight while travelling from London to Devon. We arrived quite late at night and the bar (Wayne's Bistro) was still open, so we had a drink before heading to our room. The rooms are in a separate building. Our room was clean with tea and coffee making facilities. The décor was neutral. There... More

Waynes Bar & Bistro only been opened 4 months, but decor, food and service excellent. Nothing was too much trouble ,personal service from both Wayne and Diane and staff. Good food and excellent accommodation in Hawk House,a stone's throw from the Bistro. As a mature couple we found the ambience and continental atmosphere most appealing. Will definitely come again and recommend to friends... More
