My evening meal was amazing, the wine was good too and at a reasonable price. Our room was clean. The bar area was a little cold. The breakfast was a little bit of a let down after the dinner was so good. Overall a lovely place and would visit again.

It was a lovely sunny day and we were looking to have luch and a drink in a nice garden and the Helyar certainly fitted the bill. But we were very disappointed at the very high prices for food at lunchtime. Nearly £7 for a smattering of mozzerella and tomato! Very tasty but a bit expensive.

I stayed with the groupon deal and would like to say how much I enjoyed it I was looked after and the staff couldn't do enough for us breakfast was lovely and the young lady even took time to talk I will be returning
