Chuparosa Inn sits high in Madera Canyon. Suites are very clean and private but have a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy. We were mostly interested in birding and hiking and it was perfect for both. 35 species identified from hikes and sitting on the porch at Chuparosa Inn. Owner was fun and full of information. We spent 3 nights but... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights in this idyllic spot. The Chuparosa sits alongside a mountain stream high up in Madera Canyon. All rooms have private entrances and generous outdoor space, so this is more an inn than a B&B. The accommodating owner/host is a treasure trove of information. The main trail up the canyon is close by and... More

Thank you Nancy & Luis for a great stay at your B&B. I was in the birdnest room. Everything decorated in the room with birds: pictures, bedspread...even down to the knobs on the kitchen cabinets. Quite lovely. The queen bed is one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Slept very sound. Luis & Nancy are very hospitable and... More

We stayed at the Chuparosa Inn on the Valentine's Day weekend, while attending the Gem and Mineral Show in Tuscon. We wanted to stay at a secluded and beautiful B & B for a romantic stay, and the Chuparosa Inn was just what we had been looking for. The Inn is charming, and the setting in the woods of Madera... We chose Chuparosa to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased. We loved the area and the facility there was very unique as well as comfortable. It was nice to have your own entrance to your private room and the breakfast we were able to eat in our room was delicious. We had a chance to... More

Jackie & Ed, we are always happy to host couples that choose to celebrate a very special occasion at the Chuparosa. It is our pleasure to provide a comfortable, well-appointed room that offers guests the privacy they need to share special times with each other. A delicious breakfast enjoyed in your room and on your schedule is one of many... More

I was up in madera canyon this morning and wanted to take a look at the inn and possibly book a date for later this year. I have stayed down the road at the kubos and loved my stay there but its a bit rustic for my wife's taste. I wanted to see what the chuparosa property looked like, possibly... More

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond to your review. The Chuparosa is our home. We live upstairs full time and love to host guests in the four private suites on the bottom floor. Once again this sweet B and B provided a comfortable get-a-way for us. We love this B and B for its quiet and private space, but also for its location as a great jumping off point for our daily hikes, bike rides and birding adventures! Hosts, Luis and Nancy are always so welcoming and provide little touches that make us... More

I stayed here by chance, after striking up a conversation with one of the owners while I was watching their hummingbirds. And I am really glad I did! A really charming place and especially well situated for birdwatchers and nature lovers of any kind. The owners/hosts are most welcoming. I was supposed to stay in the Birdnest room but it... More

This was our second visit to Chuparosa Inn. Both times we stayed prior to hiking Mt. Wrightson. This time we stayed after the hike, also. We were almost sorry to have the hike (even if it is our favorite AZ hike) get in the way of our time at this fabulous B&B! The ambience is second to none. The flowers,... More

You don't have to be a birder to enjoy this nice House situated right on the stream-bed just before the end of the road in Madera Canyon. We were more than comfortable and it was fun to get to know the other guests. Hope to see Luis and Nancy on our next visit.
