We were taken here by the ROW Adventure tour and we stayed three nights. Its such an amazing hotel! I was drooling during the tour around it. Right in front of a BEUATIFUL beach and our room had an awesome view of it. And on the beach you can watch iguanas swimming! The beds are very comfortable and the service... More

Pleasant hotel in front of a beautiful beach. The rooms are nice with a colorful furniture, in particular the suites in front of the beach are wonderful. The hall of the hotel is very welcoming and seems like a sort of living room, where you can read a book from the library, relax on hammocks or going just outside and... More

Warmly welcomed! We had an amazing view from our balcony overlooking a postcard like beach....the water and sand total perfection, lots of birds around. Our room was very large....nothing fancy but served its purpose: we were rarely there. Only negatives were our bathroom was dirty (actual mound of dirt in shower) and many things in the bathroom were broken, including... More

My husband, 15 year old son and I just returned from having spend 8 days on Isabela just between Christmas and New Years. Although we did not stay at Casa de Marita over New Years, (they were regrettably full), we did enjoy their sumptuous New Years Eve Banquet. Maria and her Italian husband were excellent hosts. The food was fabulous... More

We stayed in the Mediterranean Suite (one of their best rooms) and absolutely loved it. It is on the third floor with a huge private deck overlooking the beach. The room has a kitchenette with refrigerator. The provided robes were a nice touch. Marita and her staff were very welcoming and helpful. When Marita found out I was having some... More

My sister and I stayed here through a tour with Via Natura. The location was great, right on the beach, the water was a little rough, so we didn't go in, but having our door open at night to the ocean was really nice. The restaurants were very close as well. I have to say that our service in the... More

Some people do moan on these reviews so here is my honest review; Location - beautiful; on the beach - we had a little sealion play in the sea with us yards from our room (it played with us not the other way round - you should never touch/approach the wildlife!), marine iguanas on the rocks, it's 5 minutes from... Stayed here for three days in early August 2011. We chose the cheapest room across the street from the main hotel, but it was clean and had suitable amenities (fridge, mini - stove, AC). It was called the Rainbow room, my only complaint is the bathroom had a sliding glass door that didn't work very well and the shower was... More

The location of La Casa de Marita was great, lovely beach and surroundings. The only problem is the hotel is not as good as what we thought. The staff were friendly enough and helpful, it was just the room. We stayed for 3 nights and we paid for a standard double room with en-suite costing $92 a night plus tax.... More
