The very nice owner offeres every day fresh fruits of the season like oranges or grapefruits for juice. It is quite cheap and a free laundry service was offered to us too. We stayed 7 nights in this place on the lovely isle Isabela and had planned way less... Absolutely recommended!

First of all: there's two different hostels under the same name. We stayed at the newer, bigger building that has two floors and is a three minute walk from the original one. Both are on the opposite side of town, as seen from the harbour, which might look like a long walk at first, but is really not that bad.... More

Stayed at this place for a couple nights. It was a little more expensive than I anticipated as there was no kitchen, or WiFi. The staff are never around so that is also a bit of a drag if you have questions. The hammocks are great, and aside from some ants the rooms were clean.

Room is clean but very basic and overprized. We paid 15 each and it didnt matter if you were 3 in the same room. Hotel sandrita has rooms for 10 dollar each. Location is off the main drag 5 min walk from the centre. Clothes smelled severely after Laundry. Don lauro states he doesnt get any money from tours or... More

This is the cheapest place we've stayed at on the Galapagos Islands. It's clearly not a five star hotel but it provides everything you need. We could prepare breakfast in our kitchen, laundry is for free and the common area with hammocks adds to the large rooms. If you travel on a budget, this is the place to stay.

With such a low price, I was a little weary however, I booked this place because of the reviews on Tripadvisor. We weren't in the room for 3 minutes when we had to kill a cockroach on the wall, about 10 ants on both our beds and there were some friendly spiders in the bathroom. While the place was 'clean'... The rooms are quite big and both room and bathroom were very clean. Although the bathrooms smelled a bit (we guess it came from the sewers). You even have a kitchen in your room. The fridge is a neat thing to have in a low budget place! The price is quite reasonable. Unfortunately the wifi didn't work. The location is... More

We stayed in the old hostel and we had two rooms with private bathroom and kitchen to ourselves (we were 2 persons). We payed 15 Dollars per person. The host and the woman working there are very friendly and helpful. Only minus point was that it took 3 days until they cleaned the room but we are sure that if... More

Everything you need when you are travelling on Galapagos on budget. Low price, good rooms, close to everything, nice place to hang out. Additionnally : free water, free laundry, Some of the rooms include kitchens ! You can even borrow a barbecue to grill fish from the market - which is close to the hostel. Un muy bueno y bonito... The rooms are simple but enough for those on a budget. The host and owner works hard and is a genuine, pleasant guy. There were free oranges and bananas when I was there. He gives good advice on places to eat. There are two blocks. Wifi and kitchen are only in the old block. New block has larger rooms. A... More
