Red Mangrove staff at Isabella was very pleasant and accommodating. The tours that are offered have very knowledge staff and ensure you have the opportunity to see all of the wildlife that is there. We stayed both at Isabella and Santa Cruz and both were nice, but my favorite was Isabella.

Spent 2 nights here as part of the 7-day/6 night package. Nice beach location to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Meals were great and good service. Rooms were large and clean. Good tours as part of the package.

Fairly basic but charming, right on the beachfront. Only eight rooms, probably all the same but only two on the beach front and the rest behind. We probably paid extra for the beachfront but it is worth it to hear the sound of the waves at night. One queen bed and one single bed. Adequate bathroom but the tiled floors... More

We stayed here for 5 nights as part of an 11 day Galapagos trip and couldnt have been happier. So happy that we were seriously contemplating cancelling the rest of our galapagos and ecuador trip and staying here. The rooms are spacious, clean and stylish enough but not too chic/sophisticated that you feel removed from your surroundings. Remember this is... More

I just returned from a week in the Galapagos with two girlfriends. We booked through ROW Adventures in the US (the "Darwins Footprints" tour) and stayed at the Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge on Santa Cruz (see my other review) and the Isabela Lodge on Isabela Island. What the lodges lack in luxury, they more than deliver in quaint-ness, accessbility to... More

Lovely little community! Enjoyed the hotel accommodations - meals were also good. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Lovely location across from the beach. No TV in the room (nice - didn't need it).

Our room was one of two which opened to the beach area. At night we kept the door open screen closed for fresh air and sounds of the sea. The room close to the patio worked well for the wifi. The staff were slow and uninterested! The food was not interesting...just serviceable! The food kept running out, and slow or... More

If you're brave enough to cope with the rough sea ride from Santa Cruz then this is a worthy reward. A quiet and intimate setting just a stone throw from the sea, this lodge provides a wonderfully soothing base from which to explore Isabela. Our room, Manzanilla, was simple but tasteful. The bathroom was large, clean and the shower actually... More

Accommodations at Red Mangrove, Santa Cruz, were fair; at Red Mangrove, Isabela, were good; at Red Mangrove, Floreana, were spartan but excellent. The 'nature guide,' Juan Carlos Naranjo, provided by Red Mangrove, was very knowledgeable, equally fluent in English and Spanish, extremely friendly and magnified the sense of adventure — he was a fantastic travel companion. All transportation logistics were... More

Our room Acacia is next to the restaurant and has a view to sandy beach. The WiFi is good in our room (a big surprise), as hotel indicated the WiFi is only available in lobby/restaurant. This lodge is one of our stops in the Darwin Triangle (short) program provided by Red Mangrove. We were satisfied by the program which is... More
