My partner and I did a Balkan road trip and stayed at Galia for two nights. We were there in March, so not a high season. Location is great, few kms away from Kotor town and close to the water. Views from the balcony are fantastic. Rooms are basic and clean. Parking OK. Food was great and we felt the... More

I visited Hotel Galia in Montenegro for one night in October 2014 as part of a Balkan road trip and was not disappointed. Upon arrival the hotel staff warmly greeted us. We decided to eat dinner at the hotel, which was a great decision as we were treated to three delicious courses of local cuisine, all prepared to a high... More

i found the Hotel very average and the staff not friendly at all. The rooms were tiny and a twin was not a twin but a double bed, making it awkward for friends to share. The rooms were clean but the air conditioners noisy and outdated. The food at the `Galia left much to be desired, uninteresting and the fish... More

I was lucky to join this wonderful swimming trip last September 2013 and we stayed at Hotel Galia in Prcanj, this is about 3 km away from Kotor town. Kotor is a popular Unesco old town where crowds of tourists go. Hotel is great 3/4 star, clean, well-kept, family run, Sasha and Nina are very friendly and our small swimming... More

Perched up a steep drive above the shore, the front rooms have a spectacular view across Kotor Bay to the small church at the foot of the steep slope on the opposite shore in Dabrota. The restaurant is good (we didn't explore other dining options in Prcanj, if indeed there are any) and the staff friendly and helpful (they rummaged... More

We (my husband and I) stayed at the Galia hotel for three nights and it was a great starting point to explore the coast and some inland Montenegro. Unlike Kotor, a bit too full of tourists, we found Prčanj to be calmer and quiter. It is about 4 km from Prčanj to Kotor, the road is a bit narrow and... More

I recently had a week at this hotel and cannot rate it highly enough. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The balcony offered views of the bay and passing ships. The food was excellent with huge portions. Most of all Sasha and his wife went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They organised a birthday cake and... More

I know this is under B&B, but I would list it as a small hotel (maybe 25-30 rooms 3 floors and no elevator). I read many reviews that said that you could walk to Old Town, but I disagree. It is at least a 30 minute walk to the old town. Cabs are very easy, and cheap. The owners are... More

Great small hotel, friendly and run by a family. Nice location, just a few kilometres from Kotor old town. Small beach just in front for swimming in some of the clearest water I've ever seen, with one of the best views I've ever had of Kotor Bay Fjord.
