Large, beautiful house on large grounds; large, comfortable bedroom with good shower; welcoming hostess and host; one of the best home-cooked dinners we have had during our trip - including smoked duck, homemade ice cream; local Pyrenees dishes,; armagnac; Very good breakfast. Site with wonderful history. Highly recommended, including for children.

We stayed here few weeks ago. What I can say? A fabulous welcome from Natalia and Thierry, this beautiful rustic chic farmhouse in rural France has much to offer as a restful retreat/bolthole. Delicious regional homemade culinary delights, local wine served and of course "L'Armagnac to discover. Local market to visit, La Bastide and Chateau De Roquetaillade. Definitely worth staying here... We stayed at Le Poutic in the summer of 2013 as part of our honeymoon. It was a wonderful part of the trip - such excellent food, a warm welcome, great conversation (if you speak some French), and a totally breathtaking setting. We would stay there again in a trice.

I took my 70 year old Father on a trip to France and stayed one night with Henri and Michele. They were welcoming from the moment I drove up in the car. Henri helped my Father with his bags and with getting an additional bed for us. We prearranged to have dinner there as well and were not disappointed. The... More

If you like staying at B&Bs that are away from the hustle and bustle of cities and large towns, that are comfortable and serve great meals, then Le Poutic definitely fits the bill. Located just outside a small village of Créon d’Armagnac, this renovated 18th century farmhouse is secluded and quiet, yet within easy and enjoyable drive to all the... More

We habe been very sensitive in your opinion and thank you. It is with pleasure that we presented you our small country : la Gascogne, bastides, wines, ducks, ducks, ducks... We are glad you enjoyed our douceur de vivre and we are certain that à Bas-Armagnac's glass will warm your heart when it will be very clod in Edmonton. Bon... More

Michelle and Henri are so welcoming. Lovely room and house is in an incredibly quiet spot. Superb local food served on a wonderfully dressed table using beautiful linens and ceramics which Michelle sells in a barn next to the house. Hosts both very laid back and patient when we conversed using our GCSE French. Henri speaks good English.
