Little Siolim is vintage Goa wrapped in a modern world. Ideal if you like complete peace and quiet, non commercial environs and old world charm with modern facilities. 2 old cottages knocked together with a pool in the middle. 3 large rooms and well appointed bathrooms. One is an open bathroom with an old well!! We got a great off... More

We loved this boutique style hotel and stayed for 3 nights. A lot of thought has gone into the restoration of the properly and it shows. It is a beautiful calm oasis with a gorgeous pool / garden area. The staff and owner made us feel very special, they were all great. I would definitely recommend a stay at Siolim... More

We stayed here for three nights before flying back home to the UK. The staff were all very welcoming, polite and attentive. The rooms and house were tastefully decorated with antique furniture and trained many original or restored features. The pool was surrounded by plant ans trees providing shade if needed. We rented mopeds for next to nothing and this... More

Fine old building and decent pool. Forgettable food. Decent big rooms. Small garden. But hotel surrounded by unattractive village and busy roads. Claustrophobic as there's nowhere to walk. You need transport to get anywhere and the charge for the hotel taxi is exorbitantly expensive (by Indian standards). Management neither welcoming nor helpful. We were relieved to depart!

It was our first time to Goa for my daughter and I. I was born in India and hadn't been back for 47 years, so it was a very special and emotional trip for me and to be there with my daughter made it even more special. And we picked the best place to stay. We stayed in the Malabar... More

My mum and myself stayed here for 4 nights on our first vacation to Goa. We loved every minute. The staff are what makes this place. Especially Morjim the man who served us breakfast every day and was always willing to help us with what to do and see in Goa. Vijay our taxi driver was the sweetest man you... More

I have to start by saying that I have not actually stayed at this hotel but from my experiences when attending their 'cooking course', I wouldn't want to. We arrived at 9.30am after a two hour car journey from Cavelossim. There was barely a greeting and it was indicated that we should wait on a bench in the courtyard. No... More

We have been regular travelers to Goa and have stayed at Siolim house a few times , the first time we stayed in 2008 and in between atleast 5 times , over time the property has not been updated , it shows wear and tear, the bathrooms look old , for e.g it needs a shower upgrade , it needs... More

What an incredible restoration of a period Portuguese mansion in a lovely town, it would have been the perfect stay if the quality of service had also been up to scratch. The house is impressive and our room was very special -- a 4 poster mosquito-netted bed and bathroom the size of a small London flat (with an incredible mosaic... More

For those who want to just 'be' and would prefer to choose exactly how, when and if they want to get involved in the craziness that can be Goa at Christmas rhen this is the place for you...as it is for me. Striking the perfect balance between a home and a hotel with it's portugese, Indian and french influences I'm... More
