E-mailed an enquiry for a Sun/Mon two night stay - they replied saying they had a vacancy - we e-mailed back and 'phoned, leaving a message to ask them to call us and/or we would call next day to transact the deposit - leaving our contact number. No further contact from them. Phoned next day to organise the deposit and... More

Clean, airy, comfortable and friendly, with a great breakfast. Great location for days out and some good places to eat nearby. Highly recommended, insomuch as we would definately stay again, though I would book early.

We stayed one night whilst walking the coast path. Warm welcome, spotlessly clean comfortable, en suite room and shower room with plenty of hot water, a good night's sleep and good breakfast. Right in the middle of picturesque Cley and on the main road but the road went quiet at night.

We were doing a walk from Morston to Cley and back and were relieved to have chosen a day when Cookes was open. They seem to be open Friday to Sunday though this may change during the school holidays. We enjoyed delicious ciabatta sandwiches - I had Mediterranean vegetables with feta which made a change. Quite expensive but quality was... More

Tried to determine, by using the website to avoid a wasted journey if and when the cafe would be open. No details on the website. As it was early July and midweek assumed they would be open - big mistake, the cafe was closed with a sign stating that opening times were on the notice board. Checking the notice board... More

Unfortunately, our experience of the crab sandwiches at Cookes was one of disappointment. The sandwich filling seemed to comprise of mostly brown crab meat with an unfortunate dressing, the whole presenting an unappetising brown mush. It was impossible to taste the crab. We left most of the sandwiches and remarked to the waitress that they were not good. Her reply... More

Popped. In here for a light lunch. What a great place. The staff are really helpful. I had a very nice crab sandwich and a nice cup of red bush tea. Top tip. Come for the Crab which is available at lunch time.

We stopped just for a breakfast and enjoyed a meal! Ha vegetarian option of English Breakfast and a bun with egg and ham. yummy. The place is very nicely decorated and staff was friendly. Quiet that time Thursday around 11.

We were greeted at the door by one of the owners, stayed in lovely rooms with decent showers and they organised breakfast for us specifically early. Only stayed one night but would definitely go back.
