Spent two nights here over the bank holiday weekend. The owners were welcoming and friendly, rooms were spotless and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good and overall, Cookes of Cley could not be faulted. Recommended.

We stayed here for three nights taking three of the five rooms: 3,4 and 5. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped although the towels were very small and we did get frowned upon when we asked for then to be refreshed after day two. The bathrooms were spacious and everything worked! Room 4 had a bathroom across the... More

We stayed here last week whilst walking the Norfolk Coast Path. This B&B is very clsoe to the path. The room was very comfortable with generous tea and coffee making facilities. We used a baggage service and had no issues with our bags being dropped off and they were in our room by the time we arrived. The breakfast was... More

Travelled with friends and we took most of the rooms. Character property with a side garden that we were able to use in the evening for a picnic. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. Nice choice of cooked - full English, smoked haddock, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon - and cereals. Bedrooms clean, nice bed linen, towels small, toiletteries included.... More

We had rooms 3 & 5 for 1 night for a family wedding. Both rooms were spotlessly clean with nice ensuites in the rooms. Toiletries were provided which was a nice little extra given how reasonably priced the rooms were. There were a good range of tea & coffee supplies in the rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

It's a very small place with only 5 rooms and tea rooms open for few hours during the weekend. On their website they say check-in is only possible between 4 and 6pm but the owner was very nice and agreed over email to wait for us if we don't make it for 6pm (we were walking). The room was very... More

After a happy week self catering elsewhere in Cley we thought we'd load up the cars, clear the cottage and stroll down for an indulgent breakfast. Sadly, Cookes proved a huge disappointment. The 'welcome' was barely lukewarm. The coffee was average. Those who just chose a croissant made the best choice because my poached egg with smoked haddock from the... More

This is a fantastic place to stay, virtually on Cley marshes.Bedroom 1 has a superb view to the iconic mill. The accommodation is clean, with all facilities, and the breakfast offers an excellent choice. Reasonably priced. We shall return!

We stayed at Cookes for a couple of nights and it offered good value for money. The location in Cley is excellent and our room had views of the famous Windmill. The rooms (our family had three of them) were comfortable and reasonably well equipped and the breakfasts were really good. I particularly liked the outdoor picnic tables and Peter,... More
