We have visited the Windmill and stayed also had meals there, very different from your usual hotel, great views lovely walks and so peaceful. Nice to see they have a small tea room in the garden now, a useful addition.

Stayed here for one night as we thought it would be fun to spend a night in a real windmill while travelling around Norfolk. Pros - its a windmill - you can walk around the balcony - lovely garden with tea room and easy access to marsh walks - Cley has a pottery and nice food shop - nice breakfast,... More

We could only stay here for one night due to it being fully booked. Understandably, I now know the reason why - it is such a wonderful place and cannot be faulted. If you require a special, romantic break in a fantastic setting then this is the ideal place. Lovely rooms, excellent food and helpful friendly staff - our only... More

We stayed for 3 nights in June 2014, and the overall experience was positive but a bit pricey and the food choice limited in the extreme. You really do need to study the meal scheduled for the day and if you dont like it go somewhere else (see my Three Swallows review.) Cley Windmill is really interesting and if you... More

My partner and I stayed here for the night and we were impressed how beautiful the windmill was, it is lovely to stay somewhere quirky and different. We stayed in the Wheat Room and unfortunately the noise from the room above spoilt it a little as it became irritating in the end. I'm sure that the other rooms would be... More

We were looking for a venue for a small family wedding. Kirsty and I had our perfect wedding here. I have never heard the word 'perfect' said so many times. Food, perfect. Attention to us and our guests, perfect. Location and view, perfect. Rooms, perfect. Atmosphere, perfect. Relaxed, beautiful, perfect. Thank you Simon, Sarah, Patrick, Teresa - sorry to the... More

Our second visit to the windmill, and once again we were not disappointed. Aside from the food, accommodation and service, which were all excellent, nothing can beat the charm of the windmill itself and the lovely location. We will definitely visit again.

My daughter and I have just returned from a two night's stay here in the Wheel Room and it exceeded all our expectations.......and I was very excited at the prospect of staying in a windmill - If you're looking to experience something a bit different then you certainly won't be disappointed. The more traditional aspects of a B & B... More

We had an excellent coffee and cake served in a beautiful garden by a lovely friendly young woman. The reason I am giving this a low rating is because of the misery in the shop/office who freezes one as soon as you walk though the door. We were horrid enough to want to use the loo but I think probably... More

We stayed for two nights in the Barley Bin room of the Cley windmill. The windmill is right on the north norfolk coastal path, at the start of a bird sanctuary and a short half mile walk to a lovely beach. The village of Cley is very charming. The accommodation was very comfortable, the breakfasts were fabulous (kippers, eggs, local... More
