Staying at the Bisham Abbey NSC as attending a wedding reception at Bisham Abbey. Rooms are new but sadly lacking in the basics. Tiny towels provided, no shower mat so had to use one of the two towels. Very small basin in the bathroom, difficult to wash without spilling water everywhere. Restaurant like a school canteen, at breakfast they ran... More

We stayed for one night to attend a wedding at the Abbey, we stayed in one of the new rooms in the sports centre. The rooms were lovely, and being new they were super clean. Was nice to see all the sporting moments on the walls of the corridors leading to the room, however it was a bit disconcerting having... More

A bit weird sleeping in a four poster without my wife. Stayed due to working at Bisham for a couple of days, great team, nice room, good food and fantastic surroundings. A well maintained Grade one listed buildings that host some fantastic sporting talent.

I didn't stay overnight at this location, but attended a 2 day conference here. The building is stunning and full of character pertaining to it's history. We were served two lunches in the Great Hall, they have a new chef and the food was really very good with a selection of cold salads and hot dishes. Coffee time was also... More

I stayed here for my sisters wedding at the weekend, as the other reviews mention the rooms are basic, but I found them clean and had wardrobe for my dress. Bridal suite is a tad on the small side, but quaint. Showers not overly powerful. Breakfast was lovely, a choice of full English or cereal or fruit etc. This was... More

I love his place - it has the feel of a very upmarket health club. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the staff are very pleasant and helpful .... What more do you need ? Certainly good value for money so would definitely recommend this before a premier inn.

I went on a ghost hunt here. The venue was lovely! Each room has its own character. The banquet room and ceremony room are the best. Exposed beams, large open fire places, gorgeous old portraits. The building has loads of character and history too. Just make sure you ask what the code is to get out at the barriers.

As long as you know what you're getting this is a very good place to stay in the area for a night or two, which can otherwise be very pricey at the posh hotels in Marlow and Henley. The rooms are basic but clean, and the gym facilities are excellent and free of charge for guests. I haven't had any... More

We stayed here for a wedding a few weekends ago, we realised that we were not staying in the Abbey and expected basic accomodation. That said, even a barrack room has a certain level of cleanliness which, unfortunately, the accomodation here does not have. We put towels on the towel rail and they came off covered in dust, we moved... More

I stayed for one night in the youth hostel type accommodation whilst attending an event at Bisham Abbey. B&B Very, very basic. There are accommodation blocks (very ugly 60's style blocks) in between the Abbey and the sports centre. The rooms are like uni style halls of residence or a youth hostel, not my cup of tea at all and... More
