My cousin and I stayed here for 3 nights as our last stop before leaving Borneo. It was an amazing place to come and relax. The rooms are clean and come with a bathroom and mosquito net. There is also 2 hammocks with each hut. The food was brilliant and Awi made an amazing banana pancake! With the quiet beach,... More

Where do i even start on this one?! Myself, my fiance and 5 friends all came for 8 days last month. From the boatride from the village on the first day to the reluctant boatride back to the village on the last everything was perfect. We had one of the double rooms literally on the beach. Ive included photos of... More

We booked two nights here and eventually stayed 7 nights! Such a relaxing place! Laying in hammock reading a book, take a little nap untill its time for lunch ;) we decided to go for a discovery dive with Ella and did some more dives after that! Diving spots are great too! Beautiful coral and lots of fish! There's no... More

No roads and no wifi = paradise. Beautiful beach and water. Huts with hammocks on the beach. Great bunch of friendly staff. Proposed to my girlfriend here and it couldn't have been more romantic under a perfect night sky. Can't recommend this place enough. The beach Villas are worth the little bit extra money. No power during the day and... More

Mañana truly is a little spot of paradise. It's definitely worth the trip - it takes about 1.5 hours from Kota Kinabalu via taxi which cost 120RM. The water is bright blue/green and very clear. The beach is 100% free of any rubbish and the beachfront cabins are less than 20 steps to the water. If you want to come... More

1.5 hours drive + 10min boat ride from KK, Manana is beautifully located on a tiny beach with white sand and clear blue water! No frills place, you don't come here expecting 5-star accommodations so need to be okay with no wi-fi, no AC, basic cuisine, potential water shortages, and service on "island time"... In return you get peaceful surroundings,... More

We stayed here 3 nights in late March, in 2 beachfront villas. Grandfolks in one and couple with 3 y.o.grandson in other. Not a 5-star place (as their website is at pains to point out) but perfect for mid-range (or budget in dorm) beachfront. Villas basic with nice open, planted (but private) rear toilet/cold shower area. Water pressure erratic! Meals..limited... More

Manana Resort is exactly what it claims to be on its website. There are no pretensions about it, no false claims or contrived photos: it is simply a complete escape from a hectic lifestyle. My husband loved it - as Brandon Flowers sings, we all need to have a "Sams Town" where we can go home to and now it... More

This is the perfect place for everyone who is looking for a little getaway, time to relax, hammock hangouts and a paradise beach. We where there in super low season, so there where only 3 guests including me and my Boyfriend at Mañana. That was a bit of a shame as I enjoy meeting other people and some things, like... More

We had a very relaxing stay after the gunung kinabalu climb .. we did not book in advance just a simple call one day before arrive was enough ! The staff is really nice and the food they prepare is good (spagetti pomodori and pancake is really recommandable). The small villas are clean and equippedwith mosquito nets ... the chalets... More
