The walls of the bar/restaurant are covered with scribbles from travellers declaring Manana to be paradise and how they wish they could stay for ever. We stayed here for two nights and I never quite reached the level of passion some of my marker pen wielding predecessors clearly had. We stayed in one of the beach front chalets. It was... More

I stayed in Mañana Resort for a couple of nights and I wish I hadn't left when I did, I had such an amazing time. To start with the place is just a little paradise on earth. Surrounded by thick jungle you can only arrive by a quick boat ride. That gives the place extra charm. I stayed at one... More

Map location wrong when I wrote this review but the pictures are right. Boat ride to secluded beach but the adventurous can walk half an hour along coast. Didn't have internet or phone signal when I was there but apparently soon to be fixed. Great diving, waterboarding and everything you need. Not too big so cozy and quite, real nice... More

When we called to make the booking of a chalet we were told that they were all taken as a couple might extend for one more night. So we were offered the villa on the second "row" at a lower rate, though still higher than the chalet as its bigger, we were told. We replied that we were a couple... More

We loved that Manana is a boat ride away from all civilization! The villas are comfortable and clean, and there's nothing more relaxing than hanging out on a hammock steps away from the sand. The water is a lovely green but has a healthy dose of jelly fish in it, and no waves to speak of. The beach is relatively... More

When i read about Manana there was no doubt in my mind that i needed to go there. The description on their website and images i found on google, arriving at the bay is no disappointing sight either. Very luckily we were picked up by the Manana taxi at the airport and driven straight to the bay, the experience of... More

I stayed here from 23rd to 25th October 2014. I have been here before in 2010 therefore it was a pleasure to visit the gorgeous place and meet up again with Awie the guy in charge and also Tommy, the resident dog who is the pup of the previous dog (also named Tommy) who is now sadly dead. Was glad... More

The title of this review is a great summary of what Manana is. We had the villa with the two of us. Its a nice spacious room that looks cozy. Behind the room u have the outdoor jungle bathroom, which is awesome! Tropical plants to check while you are using the toilet! 2 hammocks on the porch made the picture... More

We can't wait to give manana another try. We had a great stay there, even though it rained the entire day and night. :( The boat ride was definitely a little scary (ESP for our friend's 9 month old baby!) but the driver seemed to know exactly what he was doing. We wore our backpacks so they wouldn't get wet.... More

If you can live without wifi (which apparently I can't) then this place is for you...it is idyllic. Beach shacks right on the sand, hammocks, clear warm waters the place is almost heaven. For those like me...the electricity only runs overnight, the bathroom is a lean to attached to the back of your shack, there is no wifi, he food... More
