We stayed at the Calf Shed for a week's holiday. We have two children, our daughter has disabilities and uses a wheel chair. Our accommodation was very pleasant, however we would not rate it 5 star especially having a view of the side of a shed directly in front. We found it was not easy to get our daughters wheel chair... More

We stayed in Ewe cottage at Bardown Farm. It was a beautifully prepared cottage in a peaceful setting. There is plenty of safe parking, plenty of room for children to play and the farm is easily accessible. The cottage was clean, very well equipped and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom had its own en-suite which was... More

Just got back from my second year at Bardown Farm. I live in Kent and the rest of the family live in Hampshire so this place was the perfect location. We had 10 adults and 5 children so having 3 houses to stay in was perfect. A lovely rural area where there are televisions, board games and wi-fi all free... More

Just got back from our third summer holiday at Bardown Farm and had a lovely time. Alison and Col had been hard at work and the whole place was even lovelier with new plants in the gardens, a new trampoline and a climbing fort. It is so relaxing on the farm and there are so many great things to do... More

We were looking for a location to celebrate our 70th birthdays with the family(3children with spouses and 8 grandchildren aged from 3-13) and we found the perfect location at Bardown Farm. We rented all four cottages which were all finished to a high standard to create a rustic charm from granite worktops to digital showers and all the appliances you... More

We have just returned from a family holiday staying in three of the four cottages at Bardown Farm. My husband and I and our son and his partner stayed in the cottage advertised as"excellent wheelchair friendly" accomodation. Unfortunately we have to disagree. The bedroom was too small. The bed was far too short, the head board was loose, the matras... More

Just got back after our second holiday at Bardown farm. The accommodation is spacious and clean. Ok so there might be the odd cobweb and speck of dust, but overall it was clean as any other self catering accommodation we've used. The bathrooms were spotless, loads of towels, great shower. The kitchen was fine- everything was clean including the bread... More

We visited with some family for a weekend and stayed in Crow Cottage (I think!). It is a nice place and a nice setting, however I don't think it is worth the price we paid for it. There were cobwebs in the cottage and the bed was not comfortable. There was only one shower in the cottage, so the people... More

The standard of accommodation here is excellent, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, good wifi connection, welcome touches such as the delicious home made flapjacks. Older family members found the disabled facilties at the calf shed very useful and the dining area there was big enough to seat our party of 12.

We booked all 3 cottages for a family get together. A great way to all be together but still have some of your own space! Ages ranged from 4 - 78 and we all had a great time. A lovely tin of homemade flapjacks greeted us with plenty of tea, coffee and milk. So our journey was soon forgotten. The... More
