Whilst camping in the village and on a sunny but cold day we visited the Blue Bell after a 2 year hiatus. We were thrilled to be greeted with a roaring fire, a jovial host, the most amazing meat and potato pie and a mouth-watering sticky toffee pudding - what more can you ask for? We are staying in Kettlewell... More

We didn't stay as we were already holidaying in the village, however we did eat and drink. While visiting Kettlewell we visited on a busy Saturday and were made very welcome by the staff. There was a good mix of locals and visitors making a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent and the drinks were good too.... More

I stayed for two nights, and had excellent food and accommodation. Dave and Julie were really friendly and welcoming. My room was small, but well decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. It had a fine view over to the nearby hills. I found the food portions a little on the large side for me (I'm a small eater!), but... More

Superb pub, brill food, room was a great size, had everything I needed and great bathroom, fully loaded. This is a must for a quiet weekend, the couple who owned it made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was vast, and nothing was too much trouble.

Back yet again but after a long time we thought we would have a drive out for a nice sunday lunch to the Bluebell as it is both dog friendly and the sunday dinner is excellent. Went here for Xmas lunch and a couple of meals while staying in Kettlewell. Lovely warm welcome from the hosts, Dave the landlord especially accommodating, even the dog got fed. The steak pie was the best we have ever eaten. Highly recommended. Lovely pub and friendly locals.

Called in with five friends after reading other reviews. Had to wait best part of an hour for food, had, however been warned of slight delay. Whilst waiting another customer sent his pie back. When food arrived it was only average. Gammon, chips etc very dry, looked like it had been under the lamps a while. Did not enjoy at... More
