Seven girls booked into The Blue Bell for a hen night on Saturday night after a long day out. We were welcomed and shown to our rooms. To get us all in they had actually given us a staff bedroom to accomdate all of us. We had the best night out. The food was fabulous, the service exceptional, and the... More

This pub is probably the best in what is a lovely town. We went here a couple of times during our stay in Kettlewell. The welcome from the staff was warm and friendly. The choice of drinks was good especially for real ale fans. The menu has a good selection and the food was very good. Which all why we... More

Called in for an evening meal after a days fishing on the river Wharfe. I have been before and surprisingly the landlord recognised me which makes you even more welcome. As usual I had the house special meat and potato pie which is well worth waiting for. Highly recommended. Very busy pub especially during the scarecrow festival.

Firstly there are some bad points about this inn. For the price the rooms are small and old fashioned, the shower was pretty disappointing and the bed not great but then I guess this is what you pay for a room in a lovely village in what is arguably one of the nicest parts of the dales. On the upside... More

Just had the Meat and Potato pie, absolutely gorgeous, one of the best pie's i have had in recent times,as where the copious amounts of "Black Gold" ale that was consumed. If you should bring a dog, which are welcome,a little doggy treat is on hand.Good Value for money,in a great location.

Me and the wife stayed here 9-13 June 2014. Lovely village, lovely pub with walks from the door. Because of age and arthritis we need "easy" walks and there are plenty in this area of the Dales. The room we had was fine (twin beds), clean and an excellent working shower. The bar had a good selection of real ales... More

Visited today with our miniature schnauzer and was made very welcome. We sat in a room with a lovely log fire, food was well presented and tasty with a huge pot of tea. Staff was friendly and even gave Millie our dog a free biscuit and drink. Menu provided an excellent choice with a mini menu for dogs too :).... More

Called in for an impromptu evening meal mid week, but were disappointed with the quality of the food. The fish pie was bland and lacked any flavour, gammon and eggs - eggs were hard and ham was thin. The pub was friendly and welcoming - even the dog was fed biscuits!

Ate here with a group of friends on Saturday night. It's a very nice pub with good ambience, friendly staff and a good range of real ales. We had to wait quite a while for our food although they did have a big party in and we were told this would be the case and we weren't in a hurry.... More

A friendly typical dales pub of great character, with some excellent beers, where the food can be gargantuan, but often not the better for it. For the price, I thought the room poor value, and the bathroom smelt of drains, but the breakfast made up for it, even though again there was probably too much. Whilst the above would not... More
