We stayed at Ocean Queen with our family and had a wonderful time. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow which was wonderful for just lounging around in and looking at the water. We had a BBQ most nights and we bought our own fish at the local fish market which was a real adventure for all of us. The sea... More

I stayed in Ocean Queen only for a night on 12 August 2013, but I had an enjoyable stayed there. If you are into quite place I suggest you rent the front beach bungalow. We had a BBQ night in front of the bungalow with the help of the housekeeper. The beach is rather private too. The bungalow looked old... More

I stayed here for one night, at 13 -14 August 2013. I stayed at Garden Room, the room is clean and spacious, the bed is big and clean, the bathroom also very clean, and you can hear the sound of waves from your room. too bad there's no TV available at the room, and there's no breakfast available, so I... Even though I did not spend a night in this resort, I spend most of my afternoon here. Had a relaxing day napping in the hut just by the beach, taking lots of amazing photos on the shore, and also tried their food and beverages. The staffs are very friendly, they allowed us to spend the day in the area... More

The Ocean Queen Resort isn't for everyone. If you're after luxury rooms, fancy food and a bustling nightlife - this is not the place to go. However if you're like us and are after nice, clean, affordable accommodation in a quiet beach side location - this is the place for you. The accommodation consists of villas or houses - we... More

We spent five nights here with our two children and had a fantastic time. The resort is beautifully laid out with loads of space between the bungalows which are varied slightly in nature which gives you plenty of choice to suit your needs. We stayed in a traditional bungalow which allowed us to relax on the balcony overlooking the beautiful... More

We rented a bungalow facing the beach, and sitting on the terrace with a sea breeze coming in is very relaxing. The bungalows have BBQs so we asked the housekeeper to organise a seafood BBQ for us, which was delicious. The bungalows are traditional construction, but the bathrooms have hot and cold, and the bedrooms are ACed, so very comfortable... More

We arrived at 8:30pm and had a look at two bungalows. 4 adults and 2 children. For overseas travellers the place has ambience with bamboo building and furniture and tiled roof. Fantastic pool - so warm. Barbeque outside bungalow and staff to light and look after the food on it. Good kitchen. Hot water in bathroom needed some nuturing to... More

Ok, this is basic accommodation aimed at the Indo-tourist as opposed to westerners (as others have commented) . The ladies on reception spoke very good English and were very helpful. The accommodation we stayed in was a beach front three bed bungalow. Houseboys wash up and cook for you. We thoroughly enjoyed the fish bbq that the houseboy went off... More
