This is a first class example of how a agriturismo farm hotel should be run. The family of Paul, Alexandro, and Sylvia, as well as their father, Renato, who runs the farm itself , couldn't be more gracious and helpful in every way. The hotel is immaculate, well maintained and managed. The food including dinner was exceptional and plentiful. There is... More

Lovely setting at a great price outside Vicenza. Our group of five used three rooms - one double, the other two also with double bed (and two single beds in each room), of which our room under the mansard roof included a kitchenette. We seemed to be the only guests there on holiday as other guests were suited-up on professional... More

The Agriturismo was eventually found with a search on the internet to sleep there one night. We found it nice, clean, quiet, large parking area nearby, cheap, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, definitely a place to return.

We stayed with a group of friends for 3 nights while touring the area. Alessandro welcomed us and showed us our very spacious and clean rooms which offered more than we expected in an agriturismo. Breakfast was a feast, plentiful and lots of variety, very uncommon for Italy. We had one dinner which was tasty, only the wines were somewhat... More

Last week my wife and I + a friend of ours stayed at this wonderful place. We have enjoyed it very much. The owners are more than helpful, the rooms are large and very clean. Breakfasts served by Fabio are excellent - the place itself is surrounded by beautiful gardens and there is enough room for parking. What more can... More

This was our home away from home as we explored Vicenza, Verona and Padua in our rental car over three days. Even though this is on a farm, guest areas are outfitted with all the modern conveniences and are spotlessly clean from the common dining hall to the guest rooms. From the moment we arrived, the owner-operators, father (Renato), son... More

We stayed in 'Il Grande Portico' In July 2012 with a group of friends. The family who runs this B&B are genuinely very nice people, that are always willing to help out in any way. It is a very spacious B&B in a quiet location. The charm about this place is that the family have a farm as well and... More

My Husband and I stayed here, together with some friends in July. Il Grande Portico is run by a small family and they do an excellent job! From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome from the Father and son. The father's lack of English does not stand in his way!! We barely had the bags out of... More
