the 3point rating isnt because the resort is bad.. but it is weird located. The problem in Bohol is the lack of beaches. So even is Kayla´a Beach Resort directly on the beach, you wouldnt swim there.. And also the location is bit enisle .. if you dont hire a bike, you are "trap" there and you have really tiny... More

A warm welcome greets you at the Kaylaa Beach Resort. My wife and i recently stayed here for four nights in November 2013.The staff and owner couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived. This was only a few weeks after Bohol had suffered an Earthquake which made it even more of a praise to them as they were restricted... We stayed here for 3 nights in December, a couple of months after the terrible earthquake and typhoon hit the Philippines. There was no sign of either and Kayla'a was the perfect place to relax after some busy traveling between the islands. With the relaxed atmosphere in mind, don't expect super quick service, but instead sit back and enjoy the... More

I stay at Kayla'a every year and always am 100% satisfied. The rooms, service and food are all great. The pool is first stop and spend hours each day just relaxing, eating and enjoying life. A great place to stay with that special someone. John

Had a wonderful tym.. Food is not worth it.. Rooms are clean. There is no couple massage only one lady was there to do a massage. Seashore cannot be enjoyed as it was not clean. Hospitality was good. Welcome was awesome. In the night insects are more. Lizards also can be seen

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all. Not crawling with tourists and staff who are always at hand but not intrusive. This is your kinda place. Food is nice and will carer to any taste. Just don't expect a nice beach though. You have definitely seen better.

This was my first trip to the Philippines and the Bohol experience with Kayla's Resort was excellent. If you are looking for the fast night life this is not your place. But if the quiet relaxing atmosphere is for you then this is the place to be. Email correspondence for booking was superb. All my questions were answered and everything... More

At the time of our first stay I was engaged to a Filipina and we chose Jon’s place because it was small, away from crowds and affordable. Wow were we surprised at the great experience we had. We have since married and seriously considering retiring to Bohol. We plan to return to PH in about six month and will be... More

after a few nights of staying in panglao, we decided to book a resort away from the crowd. Resort was quiet and a good place to unwind and just relax. Staff was great as they are very attentive to our needs from the time we checked in. Welcome drinks were offered (choice of soda/beer), staff took our bags to our... More
