My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Lambert Arms, the hotel is very warm and welcoming and so were the staff. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. Would definately recommend this hotel for a weekend get away.

Make sure you check your room requirements. Not all rooms are fully refurbished. Terrible customer service when I asked them to rectify a problem. I'd never recommend this inn to anyone unless you just want a room on the doorstep of the M40.
