I stayed here for 3 nights whilst working at the Boots site nearby. The hotel is very good value at £42 per night for an en suite single room with breakfast. This is much cheaper than anything else I could find in the area. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The room itself was quite small,... More

Stayed here on a Saturday night. Friendly staff and good value for the money. Room clean and tidy. Booked a single bed which was ok to sleep on and the room was nicely decorated and functional. En suite was small but again clean and tidy. If in the area again would book here .

Great value for money - basic but that is all that is expected from a £40 per night hotel. Safe parking, clean/tidy room and very friendly owner. I slept very well and was very impressed with the shower! Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Good hotel. Very Friendly staff the manager was there when I checcked in showed me my room gave me the times for Breakfast etc what I like was that you got a key for the front door to come in and out if you were late not like some other hotels where they check you in and out with a... More

Despite some of the reviews below we thought we would stay here as it was cheap and reasonably close to the National water sports centre. Perhaps it was a bit tired looking, the rooms were quite small and the shower a bit feeble but we had a lovely stay here. The owner/ manager greeted us warmly and helped us find... More

When I first arrived I noticed that the hotel was nestled in between several carehomes and the hotel itself looks as though it was once also a carehome. I had an ensuite double room but they have several available that are not ensuite. My room was tired and worn but clean and tidy. The bed had sheets and blankets instead... More

Have just stayed three nights here and I can barely move my neck. From the bottom up: the mattress was thin, hard and lumpy; the mattress protector thin and soiled; the sheets so threadbare you could have read a book through them; the pillow worn and thin with no support. Each morning I would awake to intense pain in my... More

Had a two night stay here sadly will not be returning. Rooms grubby, stains on walls, could feel springs through mattress, tiniest bathroom, stained carpets, odd smell and so on. On a plus, really nice staff and lovely breakfast.

I must say I really liked this place it was clean very friendly and in a great location. We were greeted by a nice man whom showed us the way and was really helpful if you need anything he's your man. We stayed in the family room on the top floor I would stick to the lower floors if your... More

Stayed for one night. The hotel could do with some updating, but was clean and comfortable and in a very handy location to Beeston Marina, and Nottingham city centre. Train service very close to the hotel, so good rail links. Breakfast good with plenty of choice. Very reasonable rates. Could recommend it for short stays.
