We were given a family room which was huge with a very large bathroom and a kitchen area. All very comfortable. Breakfast very good. Slept well-all very peaceful. Very convenient location for short train journey into Nottingham to visit castle and shops. Hotel very reasonably priced.

I arrived approx 9:30pm was greeted by a lovely member of staff, very friendly! Was given the key for my room which was a single room with en suit, the room was lovely, nicely decorated and clean! The bathroom was also clean! The room was very hot, the sheets where very thin! But because of the room temperature was fine!... More

Stayed for a week, with children, had a lovely stay, the family were very nice and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Great value for money, huge rooms, just 10 minutes away from Beeston town on foot and approx 6 minutes on the train (train station across the road) to Nottingham town centre.

This is a modest hotel but none the worse for that. we were accommodated at very short notice due my mismanagement of a booking elsewhere. The manager was charming, helpful and made every effort to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. many larger hotels are very impersonal so it was nice to be treated as welcome guests. The room... My son and I needed somewhere for the night after my grandson had major surgery. I would not call this a hotel, more of a bed and breakfast joint. No bar (although is says licensed outside), no lounge areas to sit in. Outer door locked at all times and the reception is only manned if you use the call bell.... More

I intended staying for a week, and actually stayed for a few weeks....It was simple, clean and ideal for my stay... And Tad, the owner was a pleasant guy....Only one bit of advice for most hotels/bnbs in saying ' It's better to have the hotel full at a cheaper rate, than half empty on a much higher rate' Hotels are... I had a pleasant 2-night stay here and liked it, Very pleasant Polish man running it who is very professional. Very nice breakfast and extremely convenient for trains into Nottingham. However, the rooms are nothing special but OK for price.

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst working at the Boots site nearby. The hotel is very good value at £42 per night for an en suite single room with breakfast. This is much cheaper than anything else I could find in the area. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The room itself was quite small,... More

Stayed here on a Saturday night. Friendly staff and good value for the money. Room clean and tidy. Booked a single bed which was ok to sleep on and the room was nicely decorated and functional. En suite was small but again clean and tidy. If in the area again would book here .
