Our experience at the Tariri Amazon Lodge was indescribable. After spending 5 days in Rio, Tariri was a great way to escape the everyday business of life. As a family that always has something going on, the Tariri Amazon Lodge helped us relax and fully embrace the beauty of the Amazon rainforest. Everyday, we would wake up to the sound... More

I don't want to repeat what all the others were writing on tripadvisor. I just want to confirm that all the comments are right. If you are looking for a perfect hideaway, a place where human beings, nature and animals live together in harmony - go there. It is amazing and Fabiola's food is wonderful!

This was the first Amazonian experience me and my partner have had. And we have Germano and Fabiola to thank for a great time. The cabanas are simple but really clean. Like the other reviewers said there wasn't internet and phone but I guess those are the large things people are looking for coming to the Amazon. We really felt... More

This was the first trip to the Amazonas for three of us and the second trip for one person. We were traveling as a family of four with children age 11 and 13. We celebrated New Year at the lodge and it was a lifetime experience for all of us. The hospitality was genuine and the food was... amazing! We... More

Transportation: This is taken care of for you -- you are picked up at the airport by Naldo and it will take 1+ hours to get to a pick up spot next to the river. We actually saw the 3 toed sloth on the way in. From there, Germano will pick you up by boat and the journey will take... More

Tariri Lodge has everything you could want for an Amazon adventure with delightful hosts and fabulous food, canoeing, fishing for piraña, caiman spotting at night, swimming with pink dolphins, visiting villages and the resident birds and monkeys were an extra treat for us.

This was a really fantastic place to stay out in the Amazon jungle. We were surrounded by water and jungle, so it was really quiet. Tgere was no phonbo or internet connections. There were lots of friendly animals, and the monkeyes relly like to talk with you. The cabins are nice and clean and with the necessery thing. They serve... More

We, two families with 4 teenagers/tweens (14-11), spent 5 days at Tariri in August. It was a great family adventure. Tariri is located in a jungle setting along the Rio Negro. The best part is that due to good waterflow of the river, you can swim right off the dock which was very welcoming in 35 degree heat. Our kids... More

We are both widely traveled and I had visited the Amazon before -- Tariri beat all our expectations. It's been built clearly with a lot of love (and all by hand as we discovered) by a wonderful family. Some highlights: - Location: Just two hours from the Manaus airport, amidst pristine wilderness, on the margins on the Rio Negro. Who... More
