I went to the Stork last night with my husband. I had fish and chips and my husband had pizza, what can I say except excellent. The food was perfectly cooked, My meal came with salad, it was beautiful, lambs lettuce and cherry tomato's ,not a hint of limp lettuce in sight!!. The pub itself is lovely, the owners were very friendly... More

The Stork, Billinge Looks like a Tudor House from the Road side, but is infact a Brick building with Rendered Panels made to look like timber beamed. Saying that The Place does have History a Plenty, and The Landlords are a Lovely fantastic Couple . Their welcome and friendly out going personality was fantastic. The Locals also were very friendly,... More

Me and my partner came up North from London to stay at this lovely little Hotel above a Pub for a family do up in Liverpool. The bed was nice and soft and the shower, I expected much less from a "pub hotel" but it was lovely. Powerful and nice and hot! They also provide you with a full English... More

My 1st time staying at The Stork and I hope it won't be the last. It provides great value for money on all fronts, accommodation, food and drinks. The room was very comfortable but what impressed me happened before we were shown it - on the way there the owner made a point of showing us where the fire escape... More

We were delighted to have a reason to stay at the Stork again and were not disappointed. We stayed for two nights this time and the room, food and hospitality were just as good as our previous stay back in March 2013. We will definitely return again on our next visit to the North West.

We stayed here on a Saturday night as we were going to a friends 50th up the road. In total there were 10 of us over 5 rooms. It's a very old building (300 years) and in some parts you can tell. The room was very large and decently equiped though parts of the roof/plaster were coming away. Bathroom was... More

I recently stayed three nights while visiting a relative. There was a warm welcome and this continued throughout my stay. My room was spacious, neat and spotlessly clean. I could have done with a little more shelving/surface area, especially a place to do my make up. Perhaps as simple as a shelf under the mirror. John and Jean and the... More

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with an excellent en suite shower. The food was excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced and John keeps an excellent cellar. Jean and John are lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed several times over the last three months and our hosts were particularly helpful during what was a very difficult... More
